Proper fast food. Came here an hour before a theatre showing and had our food served to us literally 1-2 minutes after selecting from the menu. Classic French items, which don't have the biggest appeal for me, but they tasted very good nonetheless. We paid up 25 minutes after arriving (15% service included in the bill).
The atmosphere is a real basement buzz, a combination of chatter and the jazz singers bouncing off all six walls. You start to forget you're literally by/beneath Piccadilly Circus.
This place was my family's first Michelin restaurant in London, we had great meals and desserts, the price is worthy, the location is cool, there are a pub, a theater in the same building. I think that it's a good place for a family's dinner. Oh~ their onion soup is soooooo good ! I still remember the taste!!
Great French brasserie and food is generally very good. Service can be a bit hit and miss and this time they were training several new members who clearly were very new. The decor is amazing and the live band definitely adds to the atmosphere. Worth a visit if you're in the area
Nice surprise. Street level is not necessarily promising, but the further down you go, the better it gets. Good food. Pleasant service. Very nice atmosphere. Good value for money 👏
Great Gluten free menu in this fantastic Art Deco Cafe . The food was amazing great service. Whole experience was like going back in time. We stumbled across this as we went to the theatre across the road. The venue is a cafe restaurant and music / Cabaret venue. Definitely be returning .
Stunning French art deco venue perfect for lunch or dinner.
Food is great and so is the service. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
Amazing atmosphere, make sure to book a table in advance. The food is definitely worth it. You can mix and match the menus to your liking. The chocolate tart dessert is exceptional, make sure to try it out.
The brasserie also offers other options for coffee, a bar and a night show. The place feels as if you traveled back in time. Check it out even if you do not dine there!
Hidden underground right in the heart of Piccadilly Circus, this restaurant is perfect in terms of location! A large open restaurant with very French vibes, the food and the service here are good, great for a date where you can slip into the bar americain next door for a delicious cocktail.
What an incredible place! Throws you back in time. It really feels like you have traveled in time to pre war era restaurants and bars. It’s a massive room with a 1920’s vibe. The American bar next to it is also special. Absolutely love this hidden gem In London. The steaks and soufflés here are magical and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be transported to a magical place.
We were very happy with the food, the atmosphere was great. There was live performance during dinner and we quite enjoyed it. Staff were nice but service was a bit slow.
