The food was served quickly and the staff were polite. However, I was a bit disappointed that my kofta was cooked like a flattened mini burger. It also did not match with the photos shown on the wall.

This was my local cafe when I was at university years ago and I have so many great memories here with all of my friends. Today I walked in after not having visited for about five years - I was instantly recognised and treated to the kindest, friendliest service ! It made my day ! Really well priced

staff is really nice, there's a good range of options here at affordable prices. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The seating at the cafe is really nice, there's a lot of it and outside seating as well if you want to have a smoke. Would highly recommend this joint

Bargain, reliable local eatery. Super cheery staff who are always welcoming, big plates of food, especially good for hangovers. I am a local in New Cross and LOVE going to Goldsmiths Café. The staff are always friendly and so welcoming. The food is very good and the coffee is amazing! The place is always very clean. Would definitely recommend this place for a cheap and cheerful breakfast, lunch or supper! They now stay open

A proper greasy spoon, and I say that with the highest praise. This place is probably responsible for hundreds of bachelor's degrees and dozens of PhDs. Some stuff on the (huge) menu is better than others, but it's all good value.
Had a superb (late) English breakfast, good food, affordable and Mustafa helped me pick something delicious from the menu… Highly recommended!
