This is the best food available in the area. Super authentic and with fast service. I have to try very hard to not go here everyday. Practically all the dishes are delicious, (only the noodles not being up to the standard of all the other dishes). With both a takeaway menu at £6.50 and a lunch dine in menu at around £8-10, there are many options for all budgets.
My personal favourite items include, Salt and Pepper Squid, Poached Slice Beef in Chili oil, Sizzling Beef steak, Crispy Diced Chicken with Dry chillies, Mao style roast pork, Mapo Tofu with minced pork and the chongqing style street noodles.
This place is perfect if you're wandering around London in the South Bank area and want to stop off somewhere for lunch. Good value for money, quick service and the food tastes great. The only negative I could think of was that the décor is a little dated and it's really nothing special in that regard. Nonetheless, the simplicity of the place makes it work, especially for lunch. All I want is an enjoyable, quick and easy experience. Nothing too fancy, just a full belly without having a hurt wallet. I have no reason not to recommend this place.
This was a really interesting place. I literally felt like I was transported back to mainland Asia. It's SO typically Asian. It's so obviously family run that it brings a smile to my face.Great people and good services are here.
Very decent (Cantonese) flavor. As a Chinese, I don't think there is any difference from that you can eat in Guangzhou.
