When you come home to London, you can not upscale nostalgia.

I recently started going to this cafe and was quite surprised as I've always passed by but one day I went and was welcomed and I felt at ease. The service is good although I mostly have a cup of tea but I noticed other people's meals and it looks good and it's not a long wait and I like going there. The atmosphere is good

A fabulous cafe. Great food, VERY reasonably priced, lovely staff.
My husband, our daughter and I had a full English breakfast each with tea, milk and milkshake for less than £25!!!
In the heart of Crystal Palace triangle, well worth a visit.

Went there for brunch with a mate on Wednesday around 1pm. Got a full english breakfast, coffee, cod and chips and a coke for £14. The food was OK, not the best I've had but was worth for the price. The waiter was really jolly and said we could stay however long we wanted too. He was really kind. Cafe was half full when we went. There are bus stops nearby for easy access, overall not too bad.

One of the best breakfast joints in the whole of London! A very passionate owner that cares about the quality of his ingredients and the way they are being cooked, but also for an perfectly affordable price! I would give it more than 5 stars if it was possible.

Wow. So good. If you like restaurants with genuinely good food and no pretence, you will love this place.
It looks nothing special from the outside and is pretty basic inside, but the home cooking-style food is unbelievably good, and excellent value.
I had the beef stew with mashed potato and vegetables; it was 10/10.
The owner is also a really nice guy.
The only downside I have to add is that the toilets…… could be improved.

For a quaint café on the Palace, I can't fault it really. It's very reasonably priced (pictured is the menu), I've enjoyed every meal I've had there (including the breakfast, sandwiches, jackets) and the service is friendly and very quick (literally you order and food will be with you within 5 minutes).

The full English breakfast (£5.50!) was so yummy I didn't manage to take a proper picture, sorry ;-) Great cheese and bacon omelette, big portions btw, flavoursome black pudding, crispy bacon, perfectly-done poached eggs... and brown toast (not easy to find in a non-trendy cafe you know...). And the lady... genuinely nice, and welcoming and smiley. I'd like to have this cafe as a local one! So, if you are in the magic Crystal Palace, ditch the fake-posh/Camden-town-priced Joanna's or the other fancy place on the other side of the triangle and stick to this small cafe. And have a pint after that with the money you've saved. There are nice pubs in the area 😉
