Lovely wine boutique in Putney with great selection and great staff. The owner, Dee, is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about wine and also very friendly and helpful. There is a well-curated selection of wines, many of which very reasonably priced. It is a brilliant place to both sit down and enjoy a glass (or two) or buy a bottle to take away.

I wish I could give 10/5 as we had a fabulous evening with Dee at Glug. We did a wine tasting as the last event on my daughters Hen and it was a strong finish!! Dee is friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about his wines!! The cheese boards were a real treat as well!! It was the perfect end to a perfect day!

I booked a private wine tasting for a group of 11, not really knowing the area or much about wine! But this was the perfect place to go. The atmosphere was wonderful and the wines delicious. Dee is very knowledgeable about all things wine and shared his knowledge of the wines with us. The wines were accompanied by the carefully selected cheese board and crisps. We all had a wonderful relaxed evening and would highly recommend for wine tasting. Or if you just fancy a bottle of wine to go with your dinner, Dee is the man to ask!

We have been regular Glug customers for many years enjoying the incredibly imaginative range of wines it sells and benefitting from Dee’s great knowledge. The wine bar is a great new addition! A quick glass of rose when the sun is out or a nice red and a cheese board both go down dangerously well! Most importantly, our over-sized dog always gets a warm welcome. Five stars!

The best. We are so lucky to have Glug as our local wine bar and shop. Dee is an incredible host, hugely knowledgeable (and very qualified) about all things wine, and always makes everyone so welcome. You don’t need to go any further for a trusted advisor on what to drink, and how. At Glug the range of wines are always changing, but consistently excellent, with plenty of interesting and unusual choices to try. Delicious cheese and small plates are an added bonus, and the frequent wine tastings are intimate and brilliantly organised. It’s awesome.

Trendy little bar and Wine Shop in Putney London. A real gem in Putney Upper Richmond Road beautifully done up. Dee the owner is right on trend with his latest addition to Putney’s gastro/bar scene. Super wines from Spain Portugal and other emerging regions. A delightful red from Bulgaria will warm you up nicely with their wholesome Charcuterie or Cheese board in London’s cold winter nights! There are other Whites and Rose from Spain and Portugal to liven up your Summer days! Dee is always there to share his passion for selection of wines and cheese and happily recommends them to customers. You can order wine by the glass from a selection of twelve different wines which change every week.A must visit in Putney.

Love this place! A warm welcome awaits whether you're a first time customer or a regular. Relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of wines, from classic styles to something a bit different and unique. Dee and the team are always on hand to offer guidance and recommendations, something which I very much appreciate. Cheeses and wine nibbles are delicious accompaniments. New decor looks great, it really is such a pleasure to be able to support such a wonderful local business!
