Wonderful curry. Especially the aubergine.
Very inexpensive take-away, but taste-wise it's top notch.
I wish they used fewer single-use plastics, but their boxes are re-usable so that's nice.
Owner is generous and convivial. Recommend!
Was not expecting such lovingly made, beautifully spiced curries from this place that looks like a pretty ordinary off licence.
While I reveled in the authentic Indian flavours, the charming and generous couple revealed their dream to open an ambitious new restaurant with these amazing dishes and that the off licence is just on the side.
These guys are sitting on something special and I wish them every success. Highly recommend ❤️
Really pleasant staff who made us taste dishes to help us decide. Shared two really nice rainbow curry boxes, the which were both fresh and tasty. The samosas we had were also nicely and generously stuffed, and accompanied with lovely sauces. Highly recommend passing by if you're in the area :)
I love this place. Beautiful flavours and satisfyingly authentic. The people running this are lovely and are ready to listen to feedback, along with advising on what to pick based on what you like. I'm part way through the menu, and it's easy to stick to the same thing since it's so good, but I have vowed to try everything on the menu.
It's a little on the pricey side based on the portion sizes, but the food is always delicious so you never regret a lunch from here. As this is a veggie and vegan place, I think they should also seriously consider serving the food in biodegradable boxes rather than the plastic ones they use at the moment. It would mean that the vast majority of their business has as low an impact on the environment as possible. I think it's quite important to the customers in the area who will start to use it as a regular lunch spot. They could even offer discount to customers who bring their own lunch boxes (just like how coffee shops offer discount to customers who bring resuseable cups.)
Im glad this place is near my office - I'll be visiting at least once a week.
One of my favourite curries in London. Really good value and the owners are super friendly to boot. My favourite is the banana curry, but I have now tried most of the menu and it's all delicious.
This place is very special! Very unassuming from the outside but oh lorddddddd the food inside is bloody great!
Great tasting curries and one of my fav places for lunch in Old Street. Really friendly and welcoming staff. I've only had the cheese ball curry and it's delicious.
Fresh Indian food with good quality at a reasonable price. Closest taste to Indian food back in India. Must try if you want to pick up a bite or lunch/dinner.
Delicious food specially Bhel puri.
Had apportunities to taste Veggie Curry food at different occasions in small and large parties including the one on 27th Oct (Jain society assembly) and I really like the taste.
The curries are tasty and sufficient quantity. The owners are friendly and polite. Wish they start the Oats breakfast soon and add to their variety of curries
