The Veggie Curry Box

Was not expecting such lovingly made, beautifully spiced curries from this place that looks like a pretty ordinary off licence. While I reveled in the authentic Indian flavours, the charming and generous couple revealed their dream to open an ambitious new restaurant with these amazing dishes and that the off licence is just on the side. These guys are sitting on something special and I wish them every success. Highly recommend ❤️

I love this place. Beautiful flavours and satisfyingly authentic. The people running this are lovely and are ready to listen to feedback, along with advising on what to pick based on what you like. I'm part way through the menu, and it's easy to stick to the same thing since it's so good, but I have vowed to try everything on the menu. It's a little on the pricey side based on the portion sizes, but the food is always delicious so you never regret a lunch from here. As this is a veggie and vegan place, I think they should also seriously consider serving the food in biodegradable boxes rather than the plastic ones they use at the moment. It would mean that the vast majority of their business has as low an impact on the environment as possible. I think it's quite important to the customers in the area who will start to use it as a regular lunch spot. They could even offer discount to customers who bring their own lunch boxes (just like how coffee shops offer discount to customers who bring resuseable cups.) Im glad this place is near my office - I'll be visiting at least once a week.
