First time visiting and was seated downstairs, which was very cosy and atmospheric. Our initial welcome was sadly tainted by our first waitress, who seemed very sullen and looked like she would rather be anywhere else than there. She also seemed somewhat disinterested when my friend pointed out she had got her drink order wrong. Luckily, however, we had a shift change, and our new waitress was utterly delightful and very obliging. As tea lovers, we were a little disappointed with the English Breakfast Tea, which was slightly bitter for our taste. However, my friend who had a coffee was very happy with hers. However, all these little niggles were blown away by the arrival of our food. I opted for the garden breakfast, which has to go into my top 5 best ever cooked breakfasts. My friend had the full English, which she loved and my other friend has scrambled egg on toast, and was thrilled to see it garnished with chillis. The food was amazing, and the sourdough fabulous. As to cost, we found it very reasonable for it's location. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return again.
Such a lovely space and the staff is so friendly even though I only ordered sweet potato fries as I was randomly craving for it between my work meetings somewhere nearby
An amazing dog-friendly cafe & restaurant near Regent’s Park! Four of us came here for a brunch before walking our dog at Regent’s Park. Very cosy dinning area with relaxing garden vibe & countryside deco. The most important is the cafe is dog-friendly, so we are allowed to take our dog (middle sized gold retriever) with us!! The food was okay. Reasonable portion. The service was a bit slow and the waiters were a bit confused about what was served and what to be served. But they were really busy and we got everything we ordered and the waiters were super friendly, so nothing negative on our side. The price was really fair. Each of us got a brunch meal, a drink and two starters to share. The bill came out as £23 per person including service. Will come back again next time when we walk our dog at Regent’s Park!
