Mez Mangal

New Cross visitors look no any further! This restaurant really surprised me! Lamb shashlik was amazing. Restaurant was kind enough to change rice to salad for me, as I don’t like carbs! Good size portion of meal even if you will go for smaller size, but I would recommend go for bigger size of grilled meat as it is really tasty. The Turkish grilled bread was out of this world, the best I ever had! Perfect seasoning. Meat was not salty, I think salt can be added, better less than more! Turkish red wine was surprisingly tasty, even it was cheapest one on the menu. The three dips served with bread was so good too. Most impressive thing was how my grilled meat was brought and served to me, it was still sizzled hot specially done, see video. Prices is okay too. Biggest thank you to my lovely waitress Ivet (sorry of spelling is incorrect) pretty young girl, with beautiful eyes, sweet, polite and very attentive. If I ever back to New Cross, i will certainly come back to this restaurant.

Had Set 1 menu for two. (Cold mix meze: sarma, Russian salad, humus, kisir, cacik, tarama salad. Chicken wings, lamb ribs, adana kofte, chicken and lamb shish, served with rice, chips salad and bread.) As can see in pictures we leaked the plate. As food was delicious 😋 but lots, we took home the left over. As to delicious to don't. Will returned!

The bread and the vinegar at the start..... Sorry wait: First I fall in love with the girl who was working..... Wait, wait let's start from the beginning. I started my day with some fruits, a snickers and went to the gym, I was really hungry when I finished training and wanted to eat something fresh and good and I stopped at the Mez Mangal Turkish. First I fall in love😍😍 with the girl that was working there and I am really sorry that I didn't get her numbere😭😭. The bread and the vinegar at the start where the best that I ever had and the House Special Lamb was out of this world😋😋. I highly recommend
