I can't comment on facilities as went from Central line train to District line train (and reverse on way back) and that was all
But this was incredibly simple as the platforms are next to each other and very well sign posted
Tube maps for both Central and District lines are clearly visible

Classic London station. A good transfer place. The connection of three metro lines gives you the comfort of getting around the city.

Simple enough tube station with loads of room on the platforms. Not too many steps in/out to navigate. Opens straight onto the high street

Swift and very easy transfer between the H&S/District and central lines straight across the platform.
Can’t comment about the facilities as I’ve only ever transferred here.
