Agreeing with Omari, this is definitely a hidden gem for London Takeaways, and a perfect addition to the many fantastic takeaways in the area. The char-grilled chicken with rice and black beans is my go-to order, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Friendly staff, short wait times, and, if you're picking up yourself, the smells and sounds of flame-grilled food being cooked right in front of you will only make you hungrier.

Nuno's is one of the hidden takeaway gems of South East London. Like most typical meat eaters I've eaten a lot of chicken, cooked in a lot of different ways but there is something about the taste of Nuno's chicken that sets it apart. The flavour hits you from the first bite and it puts bigger Portuguese chain restaurants to shame. If you're looking for good food at great prices then give them a try. The staff are always friendly and they often have specialty dishes just for a day if you call and ask. Don't be afraid to try some of their other dishes as its all prepared with the same love and care as the chicken, and if you have a sweet tooth, their afters are pretty good too.
