Really nice concept, and friendly staff. You will find a lot of types of cuisine here, and numerous dishes which are being served in here. Atmosphere is very chill, it’s spacious and has plenty of tables for guests - inside as well as outside.
It's a great stop for nice and many different food options and for a great pint of German beer. I frequently visit here and never have a bad experience. The ambiance is very nice and the crowd are young and very nice. Good to go 7 days a week. It's always lively.
Good for group meeting and good for a romantic date
Great place, dog friendly, good food vendor concepts. Would return. !! A little pricey but expected. MUCH better than borough market if you want hot food and actually want to eat. Borough market is too crowded to even breathe. This was really nice. Security search wont allow bottle of water or even candies- very tacky.
Great place for drinking and eating. Beer not overly priced for 1: craft and 2: London. Fantastic selection of places for food and plenty of seating both inside and out. We had a meat platter XXL which was enough for 5 hungry men.
A very cool urban space with lots of great street food options and plenty of bars for drinks. hidden away is also a secret bar with live music. A perfect location for catching up with friends in the evening. I didn't see many families but i imagine during the daytime it's probably quite child friendly. Very busy friday night and There are multiple entrances, at first it can be a bit of a labyrinth but you quickly work out whats what. There's a mini arcade and a boxing gym as well. the only negative is how expensive everything is. Food is standard for london but drinks from the bar are extortionate. Though drinks at some of the food outlets are more reasonable.
Stumbled upon this place and I must say it really surprised me. I had breakfast on 10/6/23 and got a very personalised service from chef Elvis. He was welcoming and gave me a good run down on the menu. I chose the Elephant breakfast and it was some feed. The premises itself is huge with indoor and outdoor seating areas. Pricing is not bad by London standards. Only one downside was one of the waitresses who served me tea had a lazy way about her and was anything but friendly. I would go back here as the food was awesome.
We love hanging out at Mercato. Every time we go, there’s new places and dishes to uncover. Moreover, you can mix and match based on your heart’s desire. This time, we were in the mood for nepalese dumplings, Uzbekistan beef puff pastries and philly cheese steak sub.
Everything was sublime. We originally thought the cheese was fake squirty cheese but it turned out we had nothing to worry about - the cheese was real. The dumplings had a lovely spicy tomato sauce - something I’ve never tried before. The savoury puff pastries were buttery with tender beef filling. A perfect selection for sharing.
On the day we visited, it seemed the ventilation inside the building malfunctioned because it was extra smoky inside. The electricity in the toilets also went out so had to go in the dark. No harm done however - would still go back again.
very cool food market! great variety of international food from all over the world. the quality of food we ate was amazing, the taste was world class. had pork belly from south america, it was so delicious, the meat was soooo tender. almost like pulled pork but as a whole. and the ribs were amazing as well. the sauce was great.
the bar areas and the biergardens are a great addition to create a unique flair
One of the best food market in London! I came here on Saturday 12:30 and it was not packed as borough market. We had grilled pork ribs with chips and salad which were delicious. There were so many choices like Italian, Lebanese, Asian, Caribbean etc… I’ll def come back here and try another food! And surprisingly they brews their own beer inside of the market.
We came here after visiting the extremely busy, overly touristy Borough Market. It definitely was not a mistake. There's a lovely atmosphere with an incredible selection of food vendors. The only problem is that we couldn't decide on what to eat as the choice was so big!! We eventually went for corn dogs, momo and bao buns, with the highlight being the corn dogs. The price of food was all quite reasonable, and were decent sized portions. The German beer on tap was also fantastic. The place is actually really quite big too.
