A hidden gem in the depths of South East London. I was in Penge a few days ago and fancied a jar of ale after a hard days work, and was pleasantly surprised by this place. Really lovely staff with good locals and nice selection of beers. Cheap too. Highly recommend to anyone in Penge who fancies wetting the whistle!

Play darts here near enough every week (unless we are away) always friendly staff good sports pub and place to practice & a game of pool if you fancy one 👌

We rented out the hall for our daughter's 13th birthday party... The management was totally accomodating allowing us to put up a bouncy castle and answering any question we had. I would wholeheartedly recommend the use of this space to anyone looking to create a bit if magic for a children's party. 10/10 for the total experience from beginning to end.

Amazing pub, loads of screens all around the pub. Two pool tables of decent quality and there is also a darts board available. You can get a 3 pint round for under a tenner, which is always nice and pretty much unheard of in any other pub in London other than a wetherspoons. Who needs anything else when thinking of a great boozer.

The lowest prices in Penge, the staff are very friendly and the toilets are almost cleaner than a surgery!! Well done everyone at the Billet!!

I like a pub to feel like a real pub and this is certainly that. Visited about a month ago for the first time and have been back several times even though it is not on my normal route. Shows all the sport (including Racing UK) but is not dominated by it. The bar staff are very good especially the lady that I think runs/owns it. Would definitely recommend. The best pub in Penge easily

Casual place to have a quiet drink and a catch up, staff are friendly, drinks are reasonable, they showed the olympics when we were there, and there was a great atmosphere.

A fine pint of Guinness and a warm welcome at this local pub in the heart of Penge. What's not to like? Thanks a lot for holding the benefit night yesterday; I'll be back for a medicinal half before long.
