Simply Paella

We found Simply Paella online as we were looking for an authentic paella for our wedding party. We went to taste the food at their stall on Portobello Road. It was delicious and looked really great. During the whole process, David was incredibly accommodating and there was never anything that couldn’t be done. David is one of the nicest people and made everything run smoothly before and on the day. We had four different paella dishes, and every single one was amazing and looked appetising. All of our wedding guests commented on how delicious the paella was and one of our guests is half Spanish and said it was as good as the paella she had for her wedding in Spain .. a great compliment for Simply Paella and for us in choosing them. Having enjoyed David’s Paella at a few events, it was a no-brainer to book him for my party - & what a success. He set up, cooked for everyone, cleared up and it was the best hassle free catering I could have wished for. Plus the paella was absolutely delicious- from the aroma whilst cooking to the final scrapings of the pan. My guests hoovered it all up and have been raving about it ever since. Thank you David and team! We had a party for approx 60 people at home. Simply Paella did 3 pans of vegan, chorizo and chicken paella. Everyone loved the food and the team stayed for about 4 hours, setting up and clearing up without any disruption. I’m so pleased we chose them as they really added to the party atmosphere and were absolutely lovely to do business with. Highly recommend!

From start to finish Dave was a pleasure to deal with. They came early on the day to set up and the Paella was well underway as the guests started to arrive. The whole set up was quite impressive. Mario, our chef, prepared wonderful tapas and provided us with chicken, fish & vegetarian paella. I catered for 80 and there was absolutely plenty of food to go around. The food was delicious. The set up, prep, cooking and clean up operation was done with no disruption to the occasion. I would highly recommend Simply Paella.

David came to cook amazing paella for 70 people at a thank you event for leaders at our church. The food was amazing and went down so well with people of many different cultural backgrounds. David was a joy to work with and his communication was great from the moment we sent him an enquiry. Hopefully we'll get to work with him again soon!

I hired David for my sons 6th birthday party. The food was amazing/outstanding all the guests were going back for seconds and cleared all 3 pans… add to the fact that David was so engaging and professional I can’t recommend simply paella highly enough, absolutely made the day will definitely be hiring for future functions.
