Dined at this bistro-styled restaurant this evening and was immediately taken by its modern decor and welcoming atmosphere. While the ambiance leans on the louder side due to the open kitchen concept, it adds to the bustling charm of the place.
The staff were congenial and attentive throughout. A standout feature was the drinks menu, boasting a wonderful selection, including regional specials and their own brews. Their house-made beer was particularly delightful and easy on the palate. A commendable gesture was the provision of tap water, which was served without request and at no charge.
When it comes to the food, dishes arrived hot and appetising. The pizzas, baked in a clearly visible wood-fired oven, had a crispy edge and thin base. A notable mention must go to the pizza with Gorgonzola, honey, and truffle oil – an absolute treat.
A minor observation, perhaps stemming from my own predilections, is the staff sharing restroom facilities with the guests and occasionally being on their mobiles. All in all, a delectable dining experience with a few quirks.
Great service, very friendly and on top of things. The pizza was great. I had the charcoal dough and my daughter had the traditional. Both were excellent and well cooked. The toppings were fresh and tasty. Highly recommend
Went for dinner with my boyfriend, we had a delicious antipasti of mortadella and focaccia bread and a lovely pizza with speck and gorgonzola and nduja.
The service was impeccable even tho it was a busy Friday night.
Highly recommended
The pizzas were good but slightly pricey for the quality. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available, which was great. The weather was lovely so we chose to sit outside, although the location could have been more convenient being slightly set back.
I had a fantastic experience at this pizzeria. The service was prompt and the pizza was delicious, with a good variety of toppings and crust options. I especially enjoyed the ChilliOut pizza, which had the perfect balance of heat and flavourful chili peppers.
Came for a late Saturday night outing meal and luckily enough to have a bar table to sit on. Wonderful atmosphere and I can say the pizza chefs are friendly! Ordered their special pizza using charcoal dough something different to go. Very flavourful pizza and could have gone for a tomato based pizza before. Overall I am happy and satisfied with the pizza!
True Italian pizza, quality mozzarella; I am glad I found this place.
I love this place! My favourite is the truffle, honey and sausage pizza. I would seriously go out of my way to get this pizza if it wasn't easily available. I think it's perfect. The first pic is their current special - I think it is a little bland and needs a little extra of something to be perfect. I also don't recommend their wholemeal crust as it is a bit bland. Having a vegetarian option for the special would be nice too. It feels great to sit outside near the fountains and the servers are very friendly and helpful.
Very good choices available, including gluten and vegan cheese substitutes. You can choose the type of dough used, and add additional toppings to all pizzas. You can book tables in advance and the staff are nice. The only downside is that everything is quite expensive.
Date night on a Friday evening- not too busy. We got 2 pizzas, 1 antipasto(mortadella with focaccia), 1 aperol spritz and a canned lemonade…for £64!!! I think this is the most expensive pizza of my life.
The pizza itself was good. The Arianna Sbagliata pizza was disappointing- very sweet. The Prosciutto + Funghi pizza with charcoal crust was excellent.
The prices on the online menu are outdated (lower) than the ones they really charge so we were a bit shocked when the bill came. Overall, it’s a nice place and everything but £64 was too much for what we had. £2.50 for tomato sauce and £3.50 for gorgonzola cheese is a joke. (+ gratuity)
Service was good.
