I have ventured into the Marylebone branch of Java Whiskers on two occasions now and each time had a brilliant experience. The cats are clearly well taken care of and good natured and the staff passionate about what they do. Upon my visit there were around 16 kittens present and the staff are very keen to make sure that we as customers have an enjoyable experience while also making sure the kittens were not overwhelmed and had adequate space and rest when needed. The particular staff member that was there for my visit was incredibly knowledgeable about current and previous cats and their individual personality traits and mannerisms. This is someone clearly very passionate about what she does. I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to the Java Whiskers cafe and if you are considering adopting either a kitten or adult cat think of doing so via them. The only reason I have given 3 stars on part of my review is although they have a brilliant range of pastries etc; I haven't tried any of them.

My wife and daughter are big cat lovers, and so this was their perfect way to spend some time while in London. On their first visit they went to the "kitten room", and although they ordered food and drinks, they spent almost the entire time playing with the kittens and taking lots of photos and videos. The place is super clean, and you have to take your shoes off before you enter. There are cat flaps where the cats can leave the room and "do their business" and rest away from the customers if they want. You're not allowed to pick the cats up, but some of them come and sit with you. My daughter loved it. So much so used her own money to go again, this time opting for the cat room. The cats are all really friendly and sociable, and seem to really enjoy the company of the customers. They had scones to eat, but they were large and quite filling. So on the second visit the just had one between them which was more manageable. If we lived closer, I'm sure my daughter would visit every week!

One of my favourite places in London which I'll visit again when I'm here. The cats look really healthy and the place has such warm vibes which will melt your heart. Visited the cat lounge and some cats were feisty so be on the lookout! Bubbles was the chillest cat and time flew by whilst petting her and watching her sleep. The staff is experienced and informative about each cat's behaviour which is always a good sign. Even the fiesty cats were nice to the staff which suggests that they treat the cats really nicely. Can't recommend this place enough but be sure to have a booking in advance. (>^.^<)

One of the best experiences we have had. We missed our cats so we did the next best thing.. visited this cat cafe. The staff are really nice and friendly and explained the way it works. We visited the adult cats. They also have a kitten experience.. the cats are so nice and they have a lot of cats there. Was able to pat and play with them and enjoy drinks. They have food and coffee there too. The time went by so quickly and our 55 mins was up. They have adoption services as well. If we were living here, would have adopted one of the cats. If you love cats this is the place to go on an afternoon.

Been three times now- once to cats and twice to kittens and loved it every time! The staff are friendly and the kittens are so sweet and playful! The cats tend to do their own thing more but one of them (called Bubbles) is really friendly and loves to be around people. The food is a bit overpriced though

I booked the kitten 55 minute room and it was a lovely treat. Better than a normal cat cafe experience. It was nice to do once but I don’t think I will do it again. The food and cafe on the top level ( open to the public) serves really yummy treats.

We had such a fantastic time with the kittens in the Kitten Lounge here! It's a wonderfully relaxed area with loads of space for the kittens to play with all of their toys and visitors (They also have a private cats-only area that they can retreat to if they like). The staff here is very friendly and helpful and obviously love the cats. And the cakes are gorgeous! I normally always photograph cakes, but in this instance the kittens were just so adorable I forgot to take shots of anything but them!

They have a cat room and a kitten room. Both are adorable! You take your shoes off and wash your hands before going in and then you can enjoy your booked timeslot. Cats sleep a lot so a few will be resting in comfortable spots and really cute to look at but others are awake and active and will be happy if you play with them. You can also gently pet them after asking (hold your hand in front of their nose to introduce yourself), not all of them enjoy being touched though but they will let you know. They are well-cared for but all come from foster care so some might be thin or shy. Some of the kittens were recently neutered, so just avoid the shaved area to not hurt them or scare them. The cats are all up for adoption and the staff will kindly tell you about it. The food is good there too, went there multiple times and tried some tea, sandwiches, and tartes. Very yummy. There's free wifi and qr codes for their website with the food menu and with info about all the cats.

Big thank you to the staff for doing such an amazing job of looking after the cats and kittens. You can tell that they are well looked after and that the team know their personalities, likes and dislikes. Only marked down the atmosphere due to some people standing on the seating and getting a bit much for some of the cats however it quickly chnaged back and cats had safe spaces for when it was busier which is amazing. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for your furr-ever companion as they know the cats and kittens backgrounds ans don't allow for adoption until their backgrounds are known and have settled in. Thank you for looking after them all and for educating your guests before they enter the cat room. Xxx

Adorable kittens, my family booked the 1 hour kitten experience, and we were not disappointed. Some of the kittens were sleeping as to be expected, but there were also a fair share of kittens roaming and wanting to be played with. Lots of toys to entertain them. Would recommend. The chai tea is also very delicious.
