The food here is usually at a 5 star level but occasionally it drops to a 3. This is my favourite takeaway in Loughborough but I just wish it was a bit more consistent with the quality. The processing fee on top of the delivery fee is a bit over the top.

Lovely Indian restaurant right on Ashby Road. We came here as a large group (12) and were very impressed with the speed of the service considering so much was ordered all at once.
Being a large group we tasted a good cross section of the menu and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their curries.
I personally went for the chicken bhuna and it was lovely tangy tomato with a warming chilli heat throughout.
The value for money was incredible and they offer 10% student discount which we were very grateful for, especially given the current economy. The only minor complaint was that the naan bread was rather thin and crispy rather than the more soft, bread-like texture one would expect.
Overall the food was highly flavourful and we would certainly return.

Usually order food from here for delivery but decided to have food in the restaurant, glad I did, it was lovely. Food was perfect as always. Certainly my favorite Indian in the area. Naan bread is the best naan bread, I will always recommend this place over any others in and around Loughborough.

Located on Ashby Road, Loughborough. A small restaurant serving Indian Nepalese cuisine. Good for an infrequent dinner with friends. If you're looking for a meal it does stand out though. A favorite of the students around town because they serve beer. I doubt they have reservations but it's better to get a table reserved. I wouldn't spend too much time there as it does tend to get crowded. I loved the spice and the aroma of the food served. Indian-style arches, with traditional lighting decorate the interiors. There isn't any parking around but you could find one on the streets nearby. A pleasant experience overall.

Ate here last night for the first time. Exceptional food. Very authentic with lots of fresh flavours. There was 12 of us and all the food, including starters came out hot and at the same time. Very impressed indeed.

Mount Gurkha is a Nepalese and Indian Restaurant in Loughborough. There seems to be no parking on site. However we found parking close by. We had five people in our group and ordered the Sunday Evening Special Set Meal. They advertise it as a five course meal but I doubt it? The taste is nice and the portions are sizes are good.
