Foresters Arms

Visited Foresters Arms for the first time today for a Birthday lunch, it was a sunny busy day and due to no fault of their own the pub was short staffed - despite longer than anticipated food wait times the staff were very friendly, explained the situation and tried their absolute best to accommodate us- a big thank you to David who went above and beyond to ensure our little one wasn’t waiting for her food. When the food came we were really pleased with our food and the quality and will ensure to return again.

We popped in here late afternoon on bank holiday. The atmosphere and vibe was great - we found a lovely seat overlooking the park. When the sun was out it was idyllic. We tried to order food, but was told to ‘come back in 15 minutes’. I said we were happy to wait, but was told I couldn’t even join the queue. When I came back 15 minutes later, there was a queue of people all ordering food and jumping ahead of me in the queue. IMO they should have just took the order and advised a longer wait. Anyway, when the food arrived it was tasty and as I said - we were happy to wait!

Lovely pub around the epping forest We started walking from the northern side of epping forest, and when we got here we desperately needed some water and place to sit We were offered tap water with ice (!!!), and the lunch menu, piri piri chicken and chicken curry were so good !!!! Outside terrace is looking down the green grass of epping forest, and the fresh air breeze will help you to relax for a while Love this place

Wonderful spot near Epping Forest. We visited on a bank holiday weekend and were lucky enough to find a table outside with no booking. Admittedly the pub was very busy and the staff a little overwhelmed, but food arrived relatively promptly and service was friendly. The food exceeded expectations (fabulous chips and beautiful presentation!) and the pub is very dog-friendly - would definitely recommend and return!
