So I had never ordered from here being the amount of competition there is in Maidstone and that I tend to just stick to one place. Having been let down I decided to give this place a go. I had heard great things. Now I have been ill and didn't really want to eat but my partner was dieing for an Indian. We wasn't disappointed. I managed to eat most of mine. It was just that nice. I had the jalfrezi which is so fresh and full of flavour. The meat is tender and a far cry from what rubbish I had got used too. My partner loved it too. She mainly has vegetarian sides and was over the moon with her food. Needless to say we probably will be ordering again tonight, it was that nice. I didn't take any pictures but will do next time.

The Shamrat is the best indian restaurant in Maidstone and is always my go to restaurant when I go for a night out on the town. The food is amazing, the staff are very welcoming & attentive. Nothing is too much trouble and this restaurant is always full which tells you how good it must be. Great food, great vibes, highly recommended.

A fantastic meal as usual and staff always go over and above . Was priceless to take my 2.5 year old granddaughter there for the first time. Thank you Li for looking after us as usual .

The best Indian food i’ve had in a long time. Great quality ingredients and meat and cooked superbly. Staff service was also great, and complimentary baileys, hot refreshing clothes and chocolates are a nice touch. Decor in the restaurant also nice and a class above your usual Indian restaurant.

First visit to The Shamrat. Great little restaurant. Great staff, relaxed atmosphere and the meal we had was delicious. Great flavours, nicely presented and extremely reasonable, bearing in mind how good the food was. Highly recommended.

Father's day at Shamrat with the children was amazing. Children could not stop laughing, the service and food was fantastic and at great competitive prices. The manager is one of the best front of house maitres I have come across even when dining in India which I have visited on many a business occasion. Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Maidstone and definitely worth a visit. 5 stars all round and we should know as we own Stone Court House.
