I love this place! & my other half has discovered that they do insurance thing! Always loved it, best experience large comfy chairs to start with & you not cramped into small space aka like other places & if you are over the age off 18 you can have a drink but best part if you have kids they allowed to to take in their own sweets & drinks!!!

A lovely cinema with friendly staff. It's always warm and cosy and you can treat yourself to ice cream, pop corn, pick and mix and even a glass of prosecco. It's really good value for money, well worth a visit.
I adore the Palace, the showings are high quality with great sound. It's a quirky, historic place yet it's still comfortable and they have some of the best popcorn I've ever had! I love that it's independent, it's such a hidden gem... also they have 'penny' sweets, who doesn't want to watch a gory horror and eat white mice!?!
I love the tiny screen the most, IDK why but the bigger screens are great too, especially for the epic movies like Mission impossible etc...
We are very lucky to have such a fantastic independent cinema on our doorstep. Very comfy seats, such wonderful hosts who are more than happy accommodate your needs! Reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Our favourite cinema by a mile

Went to see Golda. First time I’ve been to this cinema. It’s a charming cinema with character; the way cinema used to be before faceless multiplexes came into being! Would recommend a visit and I would love to go back.
The Palace Cinema in Malton has 3 screens. We were in the smallest one tonight with only 12 seats. Both the picture and the sound were excellent. The other 2 screens are much larger with (I think), 52 and 86 seats.
What a beautiful old building housing state of the art equipment, showing all the latest films. Friendly staff too. Very impressed.
Will definitely visit again when next in the area.
Very unique cinema, had the screen to ourselves! We drive here room Leeds for the experience. Great customer service. Popcorn was delicious. Very selection of sweets from pick & mix. Great selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend and would return always

We have been to this cinema a few times now and we are never disappointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is clean and the cinema food was just what you wanted. We would go as a family but also as a couple too. Very good local business.
