5/5 Food: No bells and whistles, everything is just right, beef cheeks is really tender and the flavouring is just right = savoury without any unnecessary sweetness on the meat.. Portion is good.
4/5 Value: A bit pricy. But there's a 50% off during January, worth a TRY.
The staff here were really attentive and professional without being intrusive. I was there for a birthday party, and they went out of their way to help us make it a memorable night. The food was clean, fresh, and delicious, and the drinks flowed at exactly the right pace... way too fast. Would highly recommend for intimate parties or just some smart cocktails.
Lovely building, great service. Loved the celeriac, truffle and hazelnut soup.
Dad loved the spiced mussels.
Parents loved the half chicken and 12 hour briased beef cheeks. My fish and chips was ok. Will go back again even better whilst the 50% off food offer was on.
Had a brilliant lunch at Masons. Service was excellent and the food highlight was the dessert which was stunning. Would certainly come back for more. The building and history of the venue is fascinating too.
Beautiful building and a very high spec but comfortable restaurant, the service is high end but it’s the perfect blend of fine and casual dining, a winning combo. Staff were helpful, friendly and very attentive, filling up your water when needed was a classy touch. They lose a star for the squid starter, the sauce it came with was delicious but the squid was very tough and tasteless really poor for such a beautifully presented dish. The ribeye steak however was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and seasoned well, could not have been better. Overall a good experience and would recommend.
I went yesterday with a couple of friends and we were really impressed, the menu and the service have improved a lot and everything was wonderful, especially the chicken terrine as a starter it was divine, we even had a very funny moment at the end that closed the night with a golden key, when we paid the bill we booked a table for the next few weeks so we will be back soon and will definitely recommend.
Fantastic service and food. We had a birthday dinner for two and they made the birthday girl feel special. Ambiance was modern and luxurious. We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. This place will take care of you and highly recommend
Genuinely enjoyed our dinner there. The fish pie was fantastic, although I'm not sure why it's called a pie. Was more of a creamy fish soup. Speaking of soups, the cauliflower soup for starter was great too. Service was friendly and prompt. Can definitely recommend this place.
Came here for my mum’s birthday lunch and it was a great choice. Delicious food cooked with quality ingredients. Generous portions. Fantastic service with a special mention to Greg, which was outstanding and made us laugh with his sense of humour. Nice interior decor.
