Katsouris is a deli with tables. Ate in with my friend and we both had roast chicken with salsa and salad from the buffet, which was extensive. Great value...choices from the salad bar include dressed rocket salad, stuffed vine leaves, boiled eggs, cous cous....loads! Was busy, but managed to bag ourselves a table which were cleared very efficiently. All in all, very good!
Had a late-ish breakfast here this morning and was persuaded by the lady serving to try the breakfast beast - an enormous bap with sausage bacon and egg. Very tasty indeed and that with a cup of tea for just over a fiver, set me up for the rest of the day. I was early for a meeting in St Anne’s Square and walked through to Deanesgate past various other chain store cafes - Pret, Subway, patisserie Valerie etc - to get here and it’s well worth the effort for the value and to get something fresh and original at a local cafe.
I've wanted to go to Katsouri Deli for a while, I walked past the window a while back and a giant sausage caught my eye. Ever since then I knew I'd like this particular deli. At lunch time during the week, this place is absolutely heaving. The staff are super efficient, they have to be! The wait wasn't long at all. There are a number of options for lunch as well as a breakfast menu which includes an excellent value full-English . I haven't had the full-English but its available all day, so I eyed up a few whilst munching on my delicious lunch - it looks like a hearty affair. Good sausage. So, for lunch you can have a full ciabatta or a half ciabatta filled with your choice of their hot meats (or cold/cured meats). The use of the word 'half' here is somewhat misleading. We're not really talking about a half-portion size, its not a meagre snack, its bigger than any other sandwich you'd buy from a supermarket or a 'Pret-a-Manger' style eatery. The full ciabbata is designed for those w
A Mancunian legend! The only deli to dine at for lunch. We have just enjoyed a Greek meze (pack with fantastic cheeses, cous cous, sauces and vegetables plus an excellent Barcelona Sandwich of emmental cheese, chorizo and salsa plus 2 hot drinks for less than £13.00.
This is the only place any self respecting Manc would be seen for breakfast or lunch
Came here for lunch on a Friday and it didn't disappoint! I had the New Yorker and thought it tasted really nice, excellent flavour combinations and the price (considering its location) was quite cheap. The deli itself gives off strong Greek vibes and stays true to its heritage. It can get a little cramped in here on lunch but I didn't mind, its very good that's why it's so busy. The chips were also delicious and had a really nice dusting of herbs and spices - well worth the £3.50. I would recommend this place and most likely will return. Also, the staff here and very friendly and helpful, not one of them looked bored or miserable (like the staff at places such as McDonald's etc) and they made the experience better.
i had posted a review a couple weeks ago, however I revisited katsouris and NEED to give it 5*!!!! I had originally said it was a little overpriced, but now having had the half ciabatta for £6, it was well worth it, the sandwich was wildly DELICIOUS!!!! i couldnt say enough nicer things about the sandwich (BARCELONA CIABATTA (BEST EVER)) ALSO!!!!!! I spoke to a lovely curly haired girl behind the counter about the cannolis (i hope my spellings right) she recommended some flavours and i bought them (£1.95 for 3 cannolis???yes please VERY affordable) and they were SO NICE SO VERY VERY NICE!!!!!! honestly, general public, listen to me!!!!! KATSOURIS IS THE ONE!!!!!
Lovely little deli. The staff are friendly, the food is both cheap and extremely delicious. Highly recommend. Has a great range of food and even sells Greek/Italian produce
Delicious food at reasonable prices. Went during weekday lunch time there was quite a queue but it moved along fast. Staff were fast paced and helpful. Enjoyed the pulled pork and peri peri chicken with paella. Roasted pork was already sold out by 1pm. Impressive spread at the salad bar, will definitely return for it.
Excellent food, excellent service!
Would highly recommend Katsouris Deli. We ordered a buffet lunch from the deli to our workplace. The food was amazing, there was a delicious range of meat and veggie sandwiches and wraps including a super yummy pastrami new york deli, chicken ceaser wrap and a feta and olive sandwich that was soo good. Thus was accompanied by greek style nibbles, dips and chips that were also delicious. It arrived in plenty of time, packaged well in recyclable boxes.
For the price you get large portions which tastes good. Staff are happy to chat and service is quick. Used multiple times during the week and maintain the same high standards the whole time.
I used to visit regularly but hadn't been for a while. Was as fabulous as ever. I had the vegan mezzi which was enormous and served on slate. All my favourites on there. The Americano coffee amazing too. Must go back and have breakfast soon too.
Straightforward food. Fresh, tasty and unpretentious. Always judge a breakfast place from the number of workers in there, Katsouris is always busy with them. Huge menu. Not stupid prices.
The food is awesome and the prices are good.
The staff is professional and kindly. No doubt It's a place to go.
Good vibes and a quiet place
They offer food delivery service. Sometimes gets stucked due to the restaurant is usually busy.

VIMTO has been going to Katsouris for a very long time in Bury and whenever we visit the great Bury market. Now we go there in both places Bury and Manchester. Always they have good variety of food and drinks to choose from. Always fresh and enjoyable so you can't resist not going there. Manchester branch at lunchtime prepare for a long queue but it worth just to add time to your lunch break or go early.
