I've eaten here several times and it has always been fantastic! A lovely restaurant, friendly staff, great food and beer - Mythos!! It's the next best thing to being on holiday....Yammas!!! I would highly recommend a visit to Rozafa!
Fourth time me and my wife have been to rozafa and everything was expected food excellent service excellent highly recommend it if you like traditional Greek mediterranean food
Excellent
On a miserable Thursday night after a day full of rain this place brightened up our mood. The atmosphere was good and the music was load enough that you could have a conversation without being overheard. As for the food- wow! We had the meat Meze. Not for the faint hearted, make sure you go there hungry. There was plenty to eat and the food was all to a high standards. We are visitors in Manchester but next time we come we will eat here. Enjoy your evening
I was intrigued by the outmoded appearance of this restaurant in an area full of generic chains and plush modern eateries. The welcome was gruff and the general atmosphere a little depressing. The manager was particularly sombre and dignified. The music was typical taverna style. My first course consisted of grilled sardines; it was not what I expected as it was covered in flour and pan fried but the taste was good. My husband had a delicious halloumi, but was not offered pitta and the staff looked so detached, we did not dare to ask ! The rest of the meal was excellent, well grilled seabass and good mixed lamb and chicken with roast potatoes. The house wine was perfectly fine. Again not much warmth from the staff but the dour manager relaxed a little towards the end of the meal and we had a nice chat about Greece ! All in all I did not regret this meal.
Totally unplanned visit.saw it went to parouse the menu and decided yes as the vibe was great.this was early doors about 5 at 6 the place was full turning people away. The food was so authentic taking us back to Keffalonia last year.Friendly welcoming staff.not a polished glitzy restaurant but traditional and so so good. we will be back
This was the first time I had Greek food. The meat was tender and properly spiced. Some of the dishes reminded me of Indian food. All the dishes were tasty. Would recommend going there at least once!
We came here last time we were in Manchester for Pride and it really is stunning Greek food. You get heaps in a portion, and the hummus is divine. My daughter doesn't actually like tzatziki from anywhere except here. The staff are super friendly and attentive and the outside seating area is really nice, even in a downpour!
Had an amazing meal here. The dips- hummus and tzatziki with pitta were beautiful and then the prawns in tomato and feta sauce and the souvlaki were both excellent. Service was very quick despite it being a Friday night and the Greek wine we had was also fantastic. Will definitely be back
Absolutelly lovely place to visit. High mannerism, table cloth-candle light dinner in authentical Greek atmosphere. Waiting staff: professional, fast, paying attention to details, classy gentelmens, welcoming. Restaurant itself lovely , little rustic, tidy, classy.
Food: absolutelly amazing. Delicious. All meals just screams at your face that they are using only fresh vegetables , no canned food. Absolutelly wonderful .
I loved everything about that restaurant, food, decor, staff, music.
After visiting Rozafa i wasnt only full but also i felt emotionally purified ( staff and customers visiting well mannered , no vulgular language heard from tables around us) . We will definetelly visit this little GEM again.
Chanced upon this Greek restaurant in Manchester. Great service, delicious food! We finished every mouthful of appetiser, dips, salad, main and dessert. Very reasonable price for great food.
Highly recommend! Hands down the best Greek / Cypriot food restaurant in the whole of Manchester.
Everything is authentic, cooked to perfection and served by a delightful team waiters and staff.
The menu contains a variety of anything to suit your needs including original Greek / Cypriot wines and beers, dropped at your table almost instantly.
The atmosphere is wonderful, with happy staff and traditional music playing throughout you feel apart of a genuine Greek environment whilst enjoying the most wonderful taste of delicacies!
10/10
Really great experience at Rozafa. The staff were absolutely 10/10 and there was a great atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was quality. Would recommend the meat meze sharing starter!
Rozafa is for real the best greek restaurant I have ever dined at. The food was simply amazing. The Kalamarakia we’re fresh and simply perfect, not too much flour or too oily, just perfect. As a main course I got the whole Sea bass, which was grilled and super tender, not dry AT ALL. The best fish I ever had to be fair.
With that the staff was amazing, I literally had the evening of my life. There was live music and the staff was dancing along with it. They also invited guests to join which was simply amazing. If u are in Manchester this restaurant is a MUST visit!
Thank you so much for the great evening.
Very delicious authentic greek food. Loved the food and service was amazing. We sat outside. Service was reasonably fast.
Brilliantly traditional. Food excellent. Live music. Cypriot and Greek cuisine 🇨🇾🇬🇷
Keftadakia and veggie moussaka was very enjoyable.
I booked a table late in the evening of Valentine’s Day so service was a little slow and we had to sit downstairs but still enjoyed.
If you want to order Pastichio, get there a bit earlier than I did, as they were all out by 21:30
Dancing with Greek live music. Service is superb. Price is reasonable.
