I've eaten here several times and it has always been fantastic! A lovely restaurant, friendly staff, great food and beer - Mythos!! It's the next best thing to being on holiday....Yammas!!! I would highly recommend a visit to Rozafa!
Fourth time me and my wife have been to rozafa and everything was expected food excellent service excellent highly recommend it if you like traditional Greek mediterranean food
Excellent
On a miserable Thursday night after a day full of rain this place brightened up our mood. The atmosphere was good and the music was load enough that you could have a conversation without being overheard. As for the food- wow! We had the meat Meze. Not for the faint hearted, make sure you go there hungry. There was plenty to eat and the food was all to a high standards. We are visitors in Manchester but next time we come we will eat here. Enjoy your evening
I was intrigued by the outmoded appearance of this restaurant in an area full of generic chains and plush modern eateries. The welcome was gruff and the general atmosphere a little depressing. The manager was particularly sombre and dignified. The music was typical taverna style. My first course consisted of grilled sardines; it was not what I expected as it was covered in flour and pan fried but the taste was good. My husband had a delicious halloumi, but was not offered pitta and the staff looked so detached, we did not dare to ask ! The rest of the meal was excellent, well grilled seabass and good mixed lamb and chicken with roast potatoes. The house wine was perfectly fine. Again not much warmth from the staff but the dour manager relaxed a little towards the end of the meal and we had a nice chat about Greece ! All in all I did not regret this meal.
Totally unplanned visit.saw it went to parouse the menu and decided yes as the vibe was great.this was early doors about 5 at 6 the place was full turning people away. The food was so authentic taking us back to Keffalonia last year.Friendly welcoming staff.not a polished glitzy restaurant but traditional and so so good. we will be back
This was the first time I had Greek food. The meat was tender and properly spiced. Some of the dishes reminded me of Indian food. All the dishes were tasty. Would recommend going there at least once!
Lovely decor, inside and out, just makes you feel like your back in Greece, only a little colder outside.
They staff Albi and Shukray were great to.
The smells from the kitchen were great, we couldn't wait for our food and when it came we weren't dissapointed it looked and tasted amazing too.

Food was splendid! The service was great, too!
I just don't see why I would be charged a service charge when there are minimum wage laws in the UK.
I am happy to give a tip by my own liking, but please don't force anything as it is not nice or right to do that.
Absolutely gorgeous food here, came in Valentine's day with my son and it was decorated lovely.
Very traditional Greek, feels like the real thing and the food was very tasty and well cooked.
I have walked past this place a number of times always wanting to try it, so finally I got the opportunity.
Both of us had little experience with Greek cuisine, so we went for the sharing mega meat meze, this meant we got to try a lot of different dishes for a good price definitely recommend.
To start you get all the dips fresh salad and the best pita breads I've had. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a salad person but I really enjoyed it. Then the hot dishes came out and it was incredible, no space left on the table. Each dish tasted great beef stew very tender, tasty lamb chops, kebabs chewy but flavourful, only let down was the chips but that's nothing to worry about they were home made at least. Dessert we shared a baclava one of my favourite choices this one was very sweet but wonderful with the ice cream.
The experience of the night I would recommend the food tasted wonderful, clean restaurant with attentive happy staff.
Will visit again once we return to Manchester
Had a fantastic meal here with friends on the 16th March. We had the Mezefi set menu for £40 each, and the amount of food was plentiful and very enjoyable. Restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended
This was our second visit to this restaurant. On both occasions the food, service and atmosphere have been brilliant. The staff are very attentive, they join in the fun in an appropriate way.
This is not the Ritz and doesn't pretend to be but if you want a great night out and know you've eaten well, with a bit of fun thrown in, this is the place.
The live greek music was also a real treat.
I can see why people HYPE about this restaurant. If youve not tried it definitely give it a go. It was really ice and very authentic Greek vibes, the staff are so nice, great service 👍🏼 I'll definitely be coming back to try some other dishes as they menu had a great choice.
I tried the veggie Stuffed peppers, chips and Spanakopita (see pics).
We came here last time we were in Manchester for Pride and it really is stunning Greek food. You get heaps in a portion, and the hummus is divine. My daughter doesn't actually like tzatziki from anywhere except here. The staff are super friendly and attentive and the outside seating area is really nice, even in a downpour!
We waited quite a while to get menus,I ended up getting up from the table and had to ask a member of staff for some. The good was amazing, when it arrived. One of our party had to ask again about her meal because it still hadn't arrived as we were finishing ours. The staff were all very polite and apologetic for the delay.
I've never been in here before and I have too be honest. I've never been in a Greek restaurant either. I ordered the Kleftiko ( large leg of lamb ) for a change from chips, I went with the rice. I've gotta say, it was 1st class. Great atmosphere, great staff and a place I will certainly go back to very soon.
