Went in to the Crafty Pig and as always felt right at home. There's a real vibe in this place. Love the music and the Trooper ale is at its best here.
Staff were lovely and friendly.
Cracking food and beer 👍🍺🍔🍟
A place I would recommend visiting
Good Friday after work place
We ordered fish and chips and it was great. Good service and nice atmosphere. Not much more to say but need some words to post this.
First of all, the staff here are a HOOT! All incredibly friendly and funny with good knowledge of their products so that they are able to recommend drinks that suit specific tastes. I was amazed by their vast gin selection with some unusual finds such as Shiraz gin! They also have the full fever tree selection to complement their gins - before I came here I didn’t even like gin but definitely left a fan!! I often come on a Friday as I really like the DJ, who plays all vinyl in this retro-style bar. There’s never a dull moment in The Crafty Pig as there’s loads of traditional board games and even a Nintendo with Fifa and Mario kart! Despite these unique additions, the indie music and relaxed vibes are enough to entertain me for the night. 10/10 would recommend this place whether it’s for a date, with friends or family!
Food here is really nice, lovely desserts and great drinks...staff are really friendly and attentive, prices are reasonable, lovely decor and lots of seating inside, would recommend!

Great spot. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Can cater to allergens and dietary restrictions. Staff are exceedingly friendly and kind. Lots of varied seating options. Food was fresh and delicious. Drinks were good.
This was a fantastic pub to dine in at, with a throwback design of the tables mainly being separated by wooden pillars! The images on the wall and the netting also contribute to this, the seating is comfortable and cleanliness had been enforced. I had a quality beef taco, served by friendly staff and the cider is up to scratch too!
Came here to grab a beer after lunch on a Sunday afternoon. the restaurant some football playing, it was a nice place to watch the matches. I tried the Madri Excepcional, it was solid. They partnered with an app to put in your order online which was nice, but also you could put in your order at the front counter. Nice place to grab a beer.
I remember this place when it was Joe's Bar now its crafty pig and have to say its been done up well I specially like the TV sports booths the place is big and open . The staff are friendly enough but have to say they do not go out of their way . I would love to have seen . Hello how are you today or have you been hear before / or about the weather / where you off to today etc . you are more likely to get returning customers if you have great bar staff who have a smile and chat it was not overly busy when I was in the staff was not rushed off their feet . That said it's a nice place to have a drink I noticed some wacky beer taps . I decided to order Cluck it up loaded Sub At 9 pound and it comes with fries think the price is a bit steep. More round the 7 pound mark when it arrived I have to say it was disappointing it was very fatty inside not much within the way of chicken so I left it don't think I will be ordering food again. But to pop in for a drink . Its in a good location at the bottom of Oldham street manchester right on top of the shops and the bus stops are right outside. being town you are likely to get some characters hanging around at night so good to know security and the police are on hand . Would I recommend this place yes . As it OK but no more than that
Went for bottomless brunch, great service with lovely food and drink! Definitely got our moneys worth 😂 haha
Highly recommended. Superb food and very helpful and friendly staff. We were seated right away, and the food we got was freshly cooked and tasty as anything. Highly recommend the Chicken and Bacon pancakes!
Came in for some food after work, everyone was lovely. Two girls behind the bar Rosie and Ellisha I think it was were great gave me recommendations. Asked for the chefs name as the food was amazing despite how picky I am, thank you for the great food Julian!
Rosie and Jack were excellent hosts. We came into a bar that was quiet at the time. But the energy and vibrancy they added really brought it to life. Wow… What an experience. Because of their great hospitality and welcoming nature we will be coming back here more than once in the future. Rosie and Jack are exemplary bar people. And for this reason, we love the crafty pig. We’ll see you very soon. With all of our best wishes, Dinuk, Zeb, and Alex.
Crafty Pig provided my husband, myself, and our beloved dog with a fantastic experience. Despite the scorching weather making it uncomfortable for our dog outside, the staff went above and beyond to ensure her well-being. James, our attentive and delightful bartender, made sure our visit was exceptional. Not only did he offer warm hospitality, but his colleague also promptly brought water for our furry friend, Holly. The thoughtful inclusion of dog treats, balls, and toys further showcased their dedication to pet-friendliness.
Opting for the lunch menu, we were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of our meal—just £25.50 for lunch and 2 pints of Moretti James consistently maintained his friendly demeanor and made us feel welcome whenever we approached the bar. His warm and approachable nature truly added to the enjoyment of our visit. We're eagerly looking forward to returning to Crafty Pig on our next trip from Glasgow. This establishment has truly won our hearts with its exceptional service, pet-friendly attitude, and affordable offerings.
A lovely birthday bottomless brunch here! They decorated the table, gave us lovely flower garlands. Great service, drinks were flowing and nothing was too much hassle. Food was great. Good value for money. Elisha, Rosie and Dylan were so accommodating. I got to spin the wheel for my birthday and got a free shot! Great day.
