We were told we had to wait 45 mins for a table which was fine but then the table was ready by the time we ordered drinks at the bar. Food was absolutely delicious! Massive portions and fab flavours. I ordered another drink and was given the wrong one but they swapped it straight away, great service and very friendly. Couldn’t manage to eat a lot of the main due to starter solita platter (amazing) but we’re able to takeaway our leftovers and had them for lunch today. Really great atmosphere and would definitely recommend, wonderful anniversary meal 😁
Fabulous place, great atmosphere staff really friendly, and the food OMG was just amazing, the steak melted in your mouth, the sauce was beautiful, the sweet potato fries are to die for and just a small amount of salad to finish it all off, will definitely be going there again, already booked for my Birthday xx ����
Birthday meal
Third time here. Food is really good and you get plenty. I had ‘Cry for Help’ Chicken Wings covered in Nagaa sauce. So HOT but good. Blue Cheese burger for main course. Very tasty.
Great food if you love a burger, we've been a few times and the christmas burger are the best we have found so far and absolutely huge! You definitely won't leave here hungry.
Spicy smokehouse burger is excellent. Very spicy but not unbearable. Super tasty. Fresh bun etc. All round very good experience. Staff attentive. Not all beers on tap were available but luckily the house pilsner is really good
Sunday lunch in an empty restaurant -- we were the only two guests.Cuisine is perhaps Mexican, perhaps Spanish - it looks as if the chef cannot decide which one. Friendly service.Location is not very conducive for a enjoyable meal: doors and windows look into a parking lot.
Came here for dinner with friends. Fantastic atmosphere and really friendly, fabulous service. The food was excellent - the cheeseburger spring rolls and buffalo chicken wings were really tasty, and the burgers were brilliant. Can seriously recommend the Big Manc and the Bacon Double Cheese burgers (which meat eaters don't love bacon candy?!). There are good fish and vegetarian options available as well. For dessert we had the deep fried cookie dough and the smores and both were both decadent and delicious. Great prices, great portion sizes and ace service. We will be back! Thank you :)
When Franco, owner of Solita in the Northern Quarter was looking for locations for a second restaurant in the suburbs, I was hoping he'd come to Chorlton. In hindsight Didsbury was much better for them if not for us. You only have to look at the expensive cars driving around here to see that there's so much more money knocking about. They've already reported that people spend more money than the original restaurant and have introduced a fully computerised booking system to cope. They're already fully booked this weekend as I write this on Friday afternoon. I was asked to come and photograph a few new specials and took the opportunity to shoot the impressive interior too. I love the neon cow which in recent weeks muct be the most photogrpahed cow in Manchester. Also the giant SOLITA letters and of course the fantastic illustrations by local artist Stanley Chow . It looks like Solita Didsbury will be another big success story because they give people what they want.
‘Molten Chocolate Cake’ is the thing of MasterChef contestants’ nightmares but Solita pulled it off. A moist cake just oozing with melted chocolate inside. It actually wasn’t too rich at all and with the refreshing cherries on the side made for a much lighter dessert than I expected. Should have ordered another!
SoLiTa, Didsbury… everyone’s favourite NQ “burger joint” has now got a big sister in the burbs. I like this sister – she has lots of neon and artworks by Stan Chow. All the favourites are there: The Big Manc, The Manc-Hattan, Krabby Patty, big juicy steaks and lots of deep fried goodies. Star dish: still has to be the Big Manc but the ‘Bloody Mary Mayo’ that comes with the Lobster & Sweetcorn Fritters deserves a special mention.
Staff : very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
Menu: very nice selection of Burgers, Steaks, Vegan and aide with range of choices on drinks.
Atmosphere: Jazzy, vibrant and fun.
Payable parking spaces available.
Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic place. Great huge burgers. Amazing specials. Kids menu is decently priced too. Wish they did more milkshakes but hey.
Well, we have just been here for our first time and loved it, the server was attentive without it being too much and very pleasant, the food was tasty and arrived piping hot at the table and the portions generous, the only thing missing for me is a craft ale on draft.
Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. Parking outside which is really handy in this area. My husband had the Big Manc burger and loved it, and although he made fun of my for having the chicken caesar salad it was amazing - plenty of dressing and beautiful chicken.
Great menu, wide choice of burgers and steaks plus salads and sides. If you hungry, try the Big Manc Burger!
But the winner (in my humble opinion) are the Cheeseburger spring rolls ; delicious!!
Food! We came specially as a friend from eastbourne requested it. We were not disappointed! Oh my word! He loved the bacon candy!!

Really enjoyed our takeaway from Solita. We ordered a couple of 3 burger sliders (which come with chips), chicken wings and salt and pepper chips. Food came very quickly, all very tasty (sliders and chips would be more than enough for one person) but the salt and pepper chips and wings were great.
Big Manc and walk of shame were probably our favourites
Slightly cheaper options available but definitely worth the extra money spent
Best place for the best burgers. Friendly, attentive staff. Great service and great food. Highly recommend.

Only been here twice and loved it both times. The “big manc” burger is a must!!! Lovely waitress, very helpful :)
1st visit here for Son in laws birthday.
