The atmosphere was very friendly along with the staff and environment around. One particular member, Amir was very helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable.The customer service we received was immaculate and concise. The food arrived stridghr after the starters which we did not have to wait long for, and the food was flawless and delicious too!

Delicious! Unfortunately, didn't get a chance to take many photos of food because I was too excited to eat, but 10/10 for flavour and authenticity. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere is relaxed, and decor transports you to Iran with beautiful artwork and artisan furniture. Serving platters are large with a variety of foods. Will be back!

Lovely Persian restaurant! We went to Darbar for lunch and we were very satisfied with the food we had! The meat was very tender and tasty. The rice was one of the best I had! Hummus and sour cream were nice as well. We had a Persian ice cream and it was refreshing and unique. At the end we paid around 25 pounds per person. I totally recommend Darbar restaurant!

Went today with work colleagues for lunch. Ordered chicken marinated charcoal grilled. 🫠😍 Staff very polite and very welcoming, very warm atmosphere. Portion is really big, you won't get this size of portion in the town 🤣 very well cooked very delicious chicken definitely must eat here ! Will come again with my wife 🙏🤩 - btw prices are good 🥹

Great Persian cuisine with characterful atmosphere, delicious food and great staff! Staff were lovely and accommodating for us despite being "fully booked" when we turned up without a booking Portion sizes are amazing and can easily feed 2 or 3 per main! Food is remarkable and the mixed tea with honey stirrers are to die for, absolutely delicious starters and filling mains. Great sizeable tables however service was a tad on the poor side, no menus brought to us and a couple of missed order items, but could just be a one off so nothing to frown over! Staff are extremely polite and hospitable Would visit again!

My Persian friend brought me here, as this is his usual spot for introducing people to the food of his people. I've probably had Iranian food before but never been to a restaurant. Vibes and atmosphere was lush, busy enough to be lively but not too busy so that it felt overwhelming. Decor was lush, loads to look at and soak in. Especially loved the man and woman watching me eat over my friend's shoulder ✨ Service was perfect. Attentive but not pushy or in your face. Nice selection of drinks, menu very comprehensive. I'm pescetarian, and there was a decent vegetarian selection, and fish too. Of course the meat is lush, and comes out on a platter, and the obvious first choice if that's what you eat. Very good portions, I had to take leftovers with me. Can't remember what it was called but deffo get the shallot yogurt, lush. The rose ice cream and herbal mix tea was a perfect finish to the meal, and honestly would go back just for that combo! Dunno how much the whole meal cost cause it was a treat, but prices on menu looked decent. 10/10 highly recommend, and will deffo go again. Tysm Xoxo

Amazing restaurant… Rang to book and was great customer service over the phone booked in straight away Fast service, took our order and food came really fast even though it was mildly busy Waitress didn’t really speak English so when asking about dishes she couldn’t really help which was a little hard Mains came as we was half way through the starter wasn’t a huge deal but would rather finish our starters first But the food is absolutely amazing Massive portions, the meat is so tender and gorgeous flavour The atmosphere and decor is lovely. We would defiantly return to try some more dishes

First time here and being a Saturday it was quite busy and didn't book a table but they still accommodated us and found us a table at short notice. Service was polite and friendly upon entry and greeted with smiles and a professional manner. Starter consisted of grilled chicken wings (No.6) which were succulent and flavoursome (lemon Herb flavour) some peoples taste buds may differ to mine and the mains consisted of zereshk polo with chicken (No. 33) and a momtaz (No 16). All in all the food was fresh, hot and succulent so a great first time experience. Atmosphere a bit loud and busy but that's what you get for a weekend so if your after the quiet then maybe a weekday would suit better. All in all I recommend going whatever day suits you and a big thanks for the staff who made it a friendly visit.

Came in on a Saturday evening. Asked if we had a table booked, even though the place wasn't that busy. Was seated on a clean table. The place wasn't warm at all, sat next to a radiator which wasn't on. The waiters were very attentive. We ordered starters which were hummus with bread and a portion of fried halloumi. The hummus was nice and halloumi was piping hot. The bread we had with the hummus was cold and very hard. The grill for 2 had come after. The chicken was very soft and juicy, not over cooked like other restaurants. The lamb kebabs were ok. The lamb chops were very soft and juicy. The naan with the mix grill was very soft and still hot. The meat on the mix grill was warm and not hot at all, I could honestly say if the place wasn't cold inside our mix grill wouldn't have been cold. We had 2 cans of irn bru, the bill had come to £55.00.

Wonderful experience. It was my first time and was delightful, The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was cooked properly and perfect. The portion sizes were big and well presented. Starter olives were very tasteful in special spices. I loved their yogurt drink. It was perfectly made and very refreshing. The meat served was tasty and succulent. Well done! Happy to come back and recommend. My only suggestion is if rice can be cooked with saffron flavour. I found rice to be very plain without any flavour. Or maybe we ordered plain ones. I was so full that couldn’t try Persian icecream. Next time I would definitely.
