At last a traditional fish and chips shop that is worthy of the name, so so many chippys out there are not worthy of it, but this ticks all the box’s and has Holland s pies, fantastic place to visit and they don’t rip you off with prices and quality of the food, I had pie chips peas curry 4pound, definitely will be back again ��
I had Fish ( Cod ) & Chips here today oh wow the fish batter was the best I have had in awhile and chips were nice and chunky non greasy, By far the best Fish & Chips I have had in Manchester city centre.
The cod fish & chips were really good. Crispy even when I took it out and had it about 10-15mins later. There’s some seats available in the store too. The gentleman running the place is helpful and the place is clean and welcoming. Great for a quick meal.
This is some of the best fish and chips I've had. The fish was flake and fresh. The batter was glorious. The staff seemed like they're having a bad day. Or they just didn't want to be there. Anyways the food speaks for itself. The chips could be better but they're good too. Also stick the fish. The pie wasn't eye opening.
Famous local fish & chips. I like how they deep fried the cod fish, so crispy. But the chips were just okay. Lots of people during lunch time. Price was kinda cheap.
It tasted surprisingly delicious! It’s unusual to find an actual nice fish and chips in the city, but this was exceptional. I had to resist going back in and ordering another after finishing the first.

Loved the Fish And Chips With Mushy Peas (GBP £8.20). I chose the haddock fish, which has a lovely light golden batter with tender flaky fish meat within.

The chips were nice and thick and fluffy, while the mushy marrowfat peas were creamy and bright. Added some salt and malt vinegar for enhanced flavour.
Very good fish n' chips! Highly recommend this place. Good tartar sauce and crisp fish! You'd love it.
Classic spot for some local food. Food served fresh and friendly service. Has always been the same ever since I visited Manchester many, many years back.

This is the most delicious fish & chips I ever try in Manchester. The fish is fresh, tasted and smelled good. That's a long line, but their service is fast, so you dont worry bout waiting too long. I've visited at 5 pm.
