Shangri-la Chinese Restaurant And Take-away

An incredible experience, all the food was lovely, the staff were amazing (especially the young girl who was working on the night, she was my favourite) but all staff were warm and welcoming. There is a note stipulating that any food waste may be subject to a charge, but because we were all greedy this didn''t apply to us. A great, great restaurant.

6 of us went for a meal last night, service not as good as usual. Asked for extra smoked chicken for the starter and didn't get any. Since I only eat that I was watching everyone else eat until we managed to get a waitresses attention. By the time we even managed that every one had finished. Food spot on though when it came.

This is a truly hidden gem. Amazing staff truly awesome food freshly prepared as you order, great quality products, friendly staff, great service, wonderful atmosphere and a truly great value for money. I loved the great choice of dishes, portion sizes allow you to order multiple dishes without feeling overwhelmed. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great Chinese meal. I can't wait to return soon.

Love this place. We went for all u can eat buffet to finish off the 50% offer during July. Always good food. Staff very helpful and attentive. Thanks Daniel and the girl for being our waiters. I was so full I rolled out the door 😁. Had a problem with confirming table booking but all worked out ok. Vivid measures were great. I like the screens between tables. I enjoyed the privacy. I would like the screens to stay after covid. Many thanks for a lovely meal. See u again soon x

Absolutely amazing food and service. We live locally and have never been so we decided to book as a family for Christmas eve night so we could all relax. The food was fantastic and the service was too. The food was cooled to order so although it's eat all you want Its not like a traditional self service restaurant. Everything is fresh tasty and really lovely. You can have all you want as long as you're not wasting which is a good rule. We would definitely recommend this place and it will certainly be visited regularly by us now. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed.

Hidden little gem in Mansfield. Please note this is not your typical buffet where you can just pick whatever you want from a main table. You have a menu in which you order as much as you want, and it comes to you. Very different and you don't know what you're getting as there is a lack of visuals. But the staff are very helpful in explaining the process and serving you. The food came a lot quicker than we expected. The food itself was surprisingly amazing. It looks pretty simple and the dishes look small portioned, but everything we got tasted fantastic and incredibly filling. It's a buffet so you can order as much as you want (but there is a little warning that if you don't eat what you order, you could be billed extra. Which I'm okay with because I hate people wasting food). Went to treat my dad out and we loved it. Looking to take the whole family out when I get the chance.
