What a little gem 💎 ✨️ local sourced food 😍 the steak and Stilton pie omg. You must try 😉 I even sourced the local supplier as it was that good.

Very welcoming staff good home cooked food at a good price. Went to a lot of effort to make our birthday celebrations special. They brought a birthday cake out complete with candles and a card. Would highly recommend you visit the best pub in the village.

Wonderful hospitality on my mother's 80th birthday.
Having been let down at the last minute by another pub in the village, we (a party of 7) walked in off the street and were catered for with no prior warning, we were made to feel most welcome.
The landlord even managed to arrange a superb surprise birthday cake without being asked and didn't want payment for !!
The food was delicious, as was the cake, the portions were most generous and prices very reasonable.
It's so heart warming and brought a tear to our eyes to see such humanity in a failing world.
Thank you so much you made my mother's 80th very special.

Classic English pub! Loved it! I had the shepherd's pie. It was to die for! Home-made, fresh, and delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Portions are big, so be mindful when ordering.

In an era where many local pubs are unfortunately closing, it was an absolute delight to stumble upon this pub. It's everything a pub should be. Cosy, welcoming, unpretentious, home cooked food, friendly staff. We absolutely loved it and will definitely return. Highly recommended.
