Balti Chef

It’s nice, except one time I ordered a set meal, and I wanted boiled rice instead of pilau rice, so they took 1 hour and 40 mins to deliver, when I phoned to complain, I was told it was all my fault for asking for an exchange of rice, they were very rude and I didn’t bother going back again. So yeah, it was nice but nothing special and I didn’t like the argument I got into, so like sorry, there’s like a dozen other places in the area.

This is the first and last time we have been to Balti Chef. The delivery was fine and on time. The problem came with the food. One curry was hideously sweet, not naturally sweet but like it had had sugar or syrup added to it. The other had a large piece of bark in it. The chips where soggy, the garlic naan dry. The only nice thing was the pilau rice. We didn't call the takeaway to get new food sent out as after finding a massive bit of bark in the Madras neither one of us trusted having the meals redone. The bark has also been in the sauce that long at the take away that it had gone soft. Therefore I can only assume not only are they not that hygienic but the sauces are not done fresh to order. All in all a waste of money and terrible food.
