Really tasty food. Doesn't taste like most of the Indians you get in London but the flavours are great. I have no idea if it is 'authentic' but I am always happy to eat here. Staff are always friendly, they play nice music that isn't played at a stupid volume and the decor is fine. Would definitely recommend giving it a try. Good for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters.

Super, well prepared and tasty food. Southern Indian traditional dishes with quite a varied and extensive menu all with reasonable prices. The Cobra beer on tap is cold, refreshing and very nice. Staff friendly and efficient. All in all a wonderful experience.

This is hands down one of the best restaurants in London. Exquisite is the only suitable word. And consistent too. Am moved to write this after my fifth consecutive great experience. The first two times I went when I was a meat eater, the last three since going vegetarian. Genuinely amongst the best meals I have ever eaten. Important note - the Indian friends I have introduced the restaurant too also loved it!

This was the most delicious and well priced Indian food I have ever had in London. The service was wonderful too. We have tried so many different restaurants in Stoke Newington and on the whole they are very mediocre. This one is amazing! We will be returning regularly. Go there! It is ace.

Delicious south Indian restaurant with lovely staff and nice ambience - not too loud music, unlike some places in the area. The vegetable thali is always delicious and great value. Lots of veggie options and the staff are happy to cater to vegans with no problem. A good place to go when you want a tasty meal with people you want to catch up with and be able to hear each other.

Absolutely delicious South Indian. You'll find none of your run of the mill boring English curries here. The spicy poppadoms are great. All starters and small mains are great for sharing as a side dish. For main my favourite is the lamb masala with a paratha. Delicious. This is a proper local gem. I've been going here for eight years and it astounds me every time.

By far the best Indian takeaway I've ever eaten. Fresh exotic flavours cooked with passion. We've eaten in and ordered from here many times and it seems to get better and better. Try 68, 55 & 26. Lots to choose from on church street but you will not be disappointed by the food at abi ruchi.

Far most one of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in London Town serving half decent food. This is caters of both Veg & Non veg they have a much versatile selection of dishes to choose from than the average Indian restaurant it's well worth the try if you like favours rather than the bland tasteless food.

This is a very good restaurant specialising in South Indian Kerala cuisine. It has been a staple favourite since I moved to Stoke Newington. The two Rasa restaurants nearby may be more of a critics favourite but I find the service here more relaxed and food more enjoyable. Good dishes to try include the Lamb Malabar and the Chicken Hydrabadi but really there is a wealth of options on the menu and some lovely breads and sides to accompany the main courses. Whenever I have eaten in the restaurant I have had a great experience. I'm docking them a star for their online ordering website. Its a bit of a faff to use. They would be better off utilising one of the food websites like Just Eat that make the process of ordering much easier.

When thinking of South Indian restaurants in Stoke Newington most people automatically think of Rasa, however, while Rasa is very nice, I prefer Abi Ruchi. Abi Ruchi specialises in Kerala cuisine which is a less spicy in flavour to ‘standard’ Indian cooking with more dishes based on coconut. I have never had a dish on the menu that I didn’t enjoy although I particularly like their dosas and the food is very reasonably priced. The staff have always been incredibly friendly whenever we have been in. The interior is pretty standard for an Indian restaurant.
