My family and I had an excellent time celebrating my 21st at Harbour Light Bistro. We came on a Tuesday, so it was very quiet. The staff were very attentive, not overbearing or pressuring at all. The manager on duty, Matt, was a wonderful, friendly host to us. The food on the set menu was all beautifully cooked and well worth the price. We will love to come again.

Lovely place, really nice atmosphere. Great views from the second story out across Nelson Harbour and Haulashore island.

It’s such a beautiful place. We had an amazing dinner there. The view of sunset is breathtaking, and the restaurant itself is fine decorated. The light inside just made everything nice and warm. We enjoyed all dishes too.

This was a fantastic restuarant. The staff were incredibly friendly efficient and professional. We chose from the set menu for 58 dollars. Exceptional value for money and the food was sublime. Best cooked steak I have enjoyed in a long time. Cannot recommend this place enough

Great location with water view, amazing ambiance, food cooked to perfection, genuinely good service. The bouillabaisse and whisky cured king salmon were very good .

We chose the 3 course meal which was pretty good value. Spicy pumpkin soup starter, then onto lamb on a bed of kumara mash followed by a ginger cake dessert. Mmm was so good. Full flavoured dishes. Cosy atmosphere with great views of the sunset across the bay.
