Without a doubt the best service we had on our trip through Newzeeland. Our bartender/waiter Blake did a fantastic job. Great food. Good beer. We stayed here twice during our two nights in Nelson.

Nice airy pub with good Guinness which is a great start. There's a range of DB beers (labelled Mac's but the real Mac's is back in Nelson) too. Decent offerings of food, poutine, burgers and fish and chips and on a Wednesday night quick service. Interesting tables with different length legs to match the floor steps.

Howard Williams hosted a quiz for us at the Jellyfish as part of our conference. Howard was easy to deal with and he did a fantastic job of facilitating the quiz. Our team really enjoyed it and I would highly recommend Howard’s services to anyone needing a Quizmaster.

Besides the amazing drinks and atmosphere, these guys offer excellent customer service.
I wanted a beer and the amazing bartender custom made a brandy-hot lemon tea for my partner who had a sore throat. (It wasn't even on the menu!)
They were also so courteous throughout the evening.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and nice environment. I would recommend the roast dinner if you’re there on a Sunday. Avoid the pizzas, they’re just pre-made bases covered in cheap cheese.
