We have been visiting Sweet As regularly for the past two years whilst studying in Nelson. We have loved the breakfasts, lunches, sweet treats and drinks. Best of all is the lovely, friendly staff. We will miss this place.

The belgian dark hot chocolate is zen level good. As are all of the cakes, food and service. In a nice quiet spot overlooked by the cathedral, these guys have nailed it.

I’ve had a small breakfast platter n one lovely cappuccino in this wonderful café.
I love mushrooms on the platter soooooo much.
Creamy cappu also makes my day.

My wife and I arrived first thing as they opened. We both had the small breakfasts, bacon, egg, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes. Food was super yummy and best coffee I've tasted for ages in a cafe. Highly recommended.

Coffee and food were great! Lots of food options from a simple bacon sandwich to spanakopita filo (whatever that is?). The chicken and coconut salad was excellent.
