Wonderful 'slightly off the beaten track' cafe, great coffee and food. Outside table under a veranda is my pick. Always a treat to visit Bobby Frank's.

One of only a few places in Nelson you can get good drip coffee. Food is good, service is fast and friendly. While Bobby Franks has a reputation for being a hippy cafe it does actually have non-hippy food. The beacon and egg roll is yummy and their eggs are toast are also very tasty. The one thing I don’t care for is the home made tomato relish, but that’s just me.

Amazing service, we were well looked after by front of house staff. The food is delicious, large portions, fresh, well presented.
Lots of light, great atmosphere, small-mid size cafe, only reason for four stars and not 5 was the place was PACKED and we couldn't hear each other.

This was my local coffee stop for the past few years. Now that I've moved back to the USA I realize I've been completely ruined for good coffee! Thanks, Bobby Frank's, for making every cuppa since a little less enjoyable.

Lots of interesting food and drink options - a cut above the usual. I had chai marsala, a spice bag served in a teapot with milk and honey to add. The vegan spiced cauliflower was delicious and my brother really enjoyed his huevos rancheros. The food looked great, tasted great, felt nutritious; can't ask for better than that!. Hard surfaces, so a little difficult to hear (brother is dead), but otherwise a really pleasant environment. Will be back on a weekday for bottomless filter and one of the enticing scones.

Loved the food so much, found the waiter to be a bit chaotic and passive aggressive. A shame as it would have been a perfect experience if it wasn’t for his attitude. The other front of house staff were incredible lovely

Great coffee and service. The Hippie breakfast (vegetarian) is very tasty and substantial. Will be coming back next time I visit Nelson.
