Best fish and chips in Nelson, hands down. The chips are always fresh and the oil is clean. The fish of the day is usually fresh gurnard, and is cooked perfectly. There is a wide range of in store made burgers each with a little local twist. I loved the Haulashore Hawaiian and the Stoke Steak. Big burgers with quality ingredients. Quick friendly service also.
A quick update. I ordered a fish Burger, 1/2 scoop of chips and a piece of fish for $19. All was cooked and served perfectly. You cannot get that value and quality from maccas.

Nice fish n chips, but I had a very long wait for it, despite being the 2nd person to order. (I know, they must have been working on phone orders)

Consistently good, The only issue I had was with oysters no flavor and very small but they were otherwise beautifully cooked with crisp batter as is everything else!!
