Great coffee and a lot of options for desserts. They had vegan options which I really appreciated! My only complaint is really unfriendly staff - compared to other coffee shops in the area I gravitated more towards them during my stay just because I had better customer service there. Hopefully it was just a few off days and going forward maybe it will improve! All a matter of personal preference as if you're going there solely for food/drinks it's a nice spot.

friendly staff, lovely environment, and great options. we tried the cold brew and the frappe for our drinks and they were both good. The gluten free brownies were good as well as the lemon bar. We will for sure be recommending this place!

We were on the prowl for a morning coffee and stumbled in here. Trust me you won't be disappointed. We also fell victim to yummy treats. Had to walk up and down Baker street twice to burn off the access calories :)

Such a friendly little place! The baked goods are amazing, the chai latte and London fog are phenomenal. The staff are very kind and friendly and the vibe is a 10/10!!

With MANY coffee options to choose from, John Ward is still at the top of my list here in Nelson for Coffee. First, the location is ideal right in the heart of Baker Street and the drinks are always delicious! You can enjoy your treat to stay or get it to go! Lots of space to come in with friends!

Friendly staff. Lovely patio that fits two comfortably. Area is good for people watching. Ordered two Cortados, one with milk and the other with oat milk. Definitely recommend the oat milk. It has a lovely sweetness that goes so well with the espresso.

They make their own chai in house and it is AMAZING. One of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had. Seriously, this could end world hunger and stop climate change.
