Clayton Fish & Chips

One of the best fish and chips I've ever had! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ But more importantly the chap who served us was so happy, friendly and a genuine nice guy :) all of our food was cooked fresh on ordering and it was delicious! I wish I had taken a photo beforehand because everyone ate everything. Large portions and super tasty (not over greasy like a lot of other chippies). Highly recommend and Will definitely return. Thank you! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food from Clayton Fish and Chip shop is never anything short of incredible. Whatever you order be it a large order small order or individual order it is always beautifully fresh with the food only matched by the friendliness of the owner. I have been to this location often and anyone who writes a bad review of this location has the opportunity to see with their own eyes if the food is not of a good standard as the food is always cooked fresh in front of your own eyes so I totally disagree with the false comments made by the previous review. If there are any issues the owner lets you view the food you have order so if there are any discrepancies in your order you can see these discrepancies before you pay and leave the premises. The choice of the menu is above and beyond any other fish and chip shop and I would recommend this Fish and Chip shop to anyone looking for fresh tasty and gorgeous food. Martin

Really friendly and respectful owner. The fish was battered and cooked fresh in front of me, and tasted good. The chips were not super tasty, but they were cooked well and were enjoyable with a generous sprinkling of salt! They are also open most nights, whereas many other chip shops are shut, which is a huge benefit. This sits on the expensive side (a large fish was £8, and regular chips were £2.90 if I remember correctly). I'd certainly reccomend this chippy.
