Delicious fresh pizza with a thin crust. The batter on the calamari was so light and cooked spot on. Already recommended to friends and family.

What a gem! A small and intimate restaurant serving quality food! First visit this evening and it won't be our last. Very good service and AMAZING food!!! I would recommend making a booking, as there are only around 8 or 9 tables. It really was a treat!

The best Italian in Newcastle! Authentic pizza with "fior di latte", me and my daughter went to L'ulivo to celebrate her new job, we have had "calamari fritti" as a starter and these fabulous pizzas. Fresh ingredients, excellent wine selections, the restaurant is spotless amd the staff is very welcoming. We loved it and we will definitely back with other friends.

Cozy place with a really nice atmosphere. Here you can find the best pizza in town along with other Italian dishes. Napoletan pizza with a touch of crunchiness that makes it perfect. Very tasty toppings as well. Definitely worth it. I really recommend try it.

Beautiful authentic Italian food .... The restaurant gets extremely busy which is testament to its overall success and the level to which it aspires. The food can take a while to arrive but this should be expected as all of the food is cooked fresh to order. Only quality ingredients are used (a lot of which are sourced from Italy). The chef is a valued member of this family run business and I am told that he takes a lot of his inspiration from his home town in Italy. My personal recommendation would be for the spinach and ricotta cannelloni which is absolutely amazing. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to family and friends without hesitation.

I went with my partner last night for a relaxed meal and it was absolutely stunning from beginning to end. The staff were attentive and very friendly (I wish I'd got the names of the two people who served us because they were utterly lovely!), and the food was delicious. The chefs were also very accommodating and were able to alter a dish to make it vegetarian for me. The produce is extremely fresh and everything is made to order - it's very impressive and a must-see if you're in the area. Thankfully, we've just moved in down the road, so we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic place to eat!! I've been here at least three times now and I have been blown away every time. The new menu is exquisite, the truffle pasta being a firm favourite amongst my friends. The interior is stunning, the service impeccable. I have nothing bad to say about this place - worth every penny. Please eat here and support local business!

Delicious food, friendly staff, and a cute space with outside seating too. They serve proper neapolitan pizza, and their garlic prawn and white wine appetizer was utterly delicious, and I'm kinda amazed I had the restraint to not lick the damn plate after everything else on it was rapidly consumed :P Go here, it's great.

Great food. Nice staff just not very engaging upon arrival. A warm verbal greeting would work so well when opening the door. Ran out of parmesan...in an Italian! 🤔 Still great food though

Absolutely phenomenal. The best food and service around. Could not recommend enough. Attention to detail is spot on and couldn’t ask for a more relaxed setting and delicious meal - simply perfect!

We loved Luvio! Service was a little slow compared to some, but that’s because all of the authentic food is cooked with real Sardinian passion. Proper neighbourhood bistro. Would recommend for an informal evening out 😀
