Welcomed as a long lost son...mostly because my bestie is a regular. Drinks & poppadoms arrived swiftly. Before the starters and delicious main courses. Followed by more drinks. Smashed the hottest lamb chops I've had the pleasure of in my life. Definitely be a return customer now my wife has my recommendation.

5 stars is possibly a tiny bit generous, but the food here is very good and seems authentic. Portions were good. The sauces in the pickle tray were plentiful and very tasty! We opted for the Ahad special starter for 2 and that was nice and was enhanced by the sauces from the pickle tray. On to the mains the curries were probably spicier than normal which was great as I like my food very spicy. The chefs special rice was exemplary and the Garlic Nann was great too. The staff were very friendly, but perhaps they could have been a tiny bit more attentive, but I'd take friendly staff every time. Atmosphere was good as was the decor, but catered for a slightly older clientele. Overall a great meal!

5* Review Had a delivery that was just amazing. A family evening meal that was as good in price as it was in taste. Quoted an hour for deliver but turned up early and super hot. Without a doubt the best tasting Indian meal in Newcastle that we have tried, and we have tried a lot. This will be our go to from now on. Amazing delicate and complex flavours with just the right portion size. We could not make up up minds which was the best dish so we had to settle on the butter chicken, chicken bhirina and naans. As ever ordered too much rice. As I am writing the review my favourite was the sag aloo. It surprised me with a spicy kick, but OMG it was good. I did share it out evenly, honest! Just thinking about when to have our next delivery.
