I love this pub and the food is unreal. The staff for the most part are lovely however, a small few of them have a absolute stinking attitude when they serve you and it’s so off putting.

Great venue and cheap drink Mondays! Only 4 stars because I was told that they can't promise any food, even salad, can be gluten free because their kitchen extractor fans pick up and spray flour over everything 😂

Was here for a staff party. Huge shout out to Jackson who looked after us on the bar on the evening. Super friendly and remembered mine, and everyone else's order. Superstar! Pizzas were class too

It's been years since I was in this bar and found it to be pretty nice. It was busy but not too busy and the staff were all friendly enough. I would happily go back again

The overall service is great, and I come here weekly with friends to have drinks. However, there's been an issue persisting for over half a year with the door locks in the women's toilet. Out of the 5 cubicles, 2 have had broken locks. This significantly affects female customers, and I hope this can be resolved promptly.

Good place to grab some food before going to the library or just chilling around university. Quite many varieties of beers. My fav food is the pulled pork flatbread. Their fries are superb. Most of the time this pub is not too full.

We hired the upstairs part of the Hancock pub for my stepson's 21st party , from the first contact to booking the room to us all leaving just after 11pm the staff & manager made sure everything was done to perfection , if possible I would give 100/10 to the whole team who run this amazing establishment.
The Hancock is a great place to come for a nice drink & food , the staff are friendly & helpful & ready to make sure your time there is the best ever , all the catering is done the kitchen staff & it shows just how good pub food should be , when the food was being served you could see it had been thought out so well & we were all extremely pleased with every aspect of the buffet from presentation to taste .
The atmosphere inside is a very relaxed one & the whole place is a credit to all who work there to make it the success it is .
I would have no doubts about booking the Hancock again & would recommend it to anyone who asked what it is like , the biggest of thank you's to all the staff there who made it a great night for us all ♥️♥️♥️♥️🤘🤘🤘🤘🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
