Second time visiting Newcastle, first time visiting Batch...Wow! The best Bakery i've been to. Nutella croissant was the best I've ever had, so fluffy inside as was the cinnamon swirl! A must try if you are in Newcastle...Unreal🤩
Also do a variety of Milks for Hot drinks...5⭐ from me!

Amazing croissants. We bought 3 kinds, they were all gorgeous, my favourite was the lemon curd. A bit on the expensive side (£3.75 I think) but worth every penny. If I lived around the corner I would be here every weekend.

Delightful little bakery in Jesmond, perfect little pit stop after a walk. If you’re in the city centre, it’s worth the 15-20 min walk to get here. Didn’t try their coffee just grabbed a raspberry and white chocolate croissant and the pistachio and white chocolate croissant (although I did want to try everything!). Absolutely amazing, fresh and definitely made with love.
Next time I will try their almond croissant!

I went out my way to come here as I had seen all the reviews raving about the croissants. There were several different sweet fillings available so I had a pistachio and white chocolate one. It was absolutely amazing! It was clearly made with love (and a lot of butter) and the filling was also generous without overwhelming the croissant. I would definitely recommend this place!

This is a real gem of Jesmond. I've always been a bit ambivalent about croissants but absolutely fell in love with the produce from batch. The BEST croissants I've ever tasted! And friendly staff too. Great to support independent and diverse local businesses, so essential to maintaining a uniqueness to the local area. Recommend highly 👌

Batch is our favourite coffee and cake stop in Newcastle by a mile! Superb, made from scratch, croissants and many other delicious baked goods too. The staff and owner are brilliant too. Always super friendly and great chat. A real Jesmond gem of a place.

Me and my partner have recently become a bit obsessed with croissants. We were looking for somewhere in Newcastle that does freshly baked goods and hoping for a bonus of a good coffee too! Batch did not disappoint, in fact it’s probably going to become our new go to place for a treat on a weekend.
We had a Biscoff flavoured croissant as well as a chocolate one. Both unreal, but the Biscoff was something else! Both tasted so fresh and doughy which we prefer to the typical ones that fall apart and flake away making eating them messy! We both got a coffee (mocha) too which were made with care by the gentleman and not served steaming hot like a lot of places!
The staff were lovely and welcoming. The place was very clean and tidy. There was also other cakes and treats to choose from as well as normal food including breakfast items. Definitely deserving of 5 stars!

Stop it! I have just been made the BEST chicken club sandwich in the city by a mile in RECORD time!! Friendly helpful staff great location & unbelievably well executed crispy bacon tasty hot chicken some type of dressing to die for!! 💕 Previously I've had pastries from here & coffee too which is also pretty exceptional BUT THIS SANDWICH...holy moly 💕❤️
