After initial surprise of finding everything had to be ordered on terminals, we found the service to be quick. The food was not just any food "but M&S food" was it was really nice. My local M&S Cafe needs to get this!!

I was really sceptical regarding the new system in the cafe , no cash order on a screen etc, however I have been completely won over and love it the service is second to none and means you can sit while everything is being prepared and then brought to your table well done M&S highly recommend 👍🏼

A very nice cafe with great service and brilliant food. I had a blondie brownie and it was divine and you can guarantee a wonderful cup of tea! The prices are reasonable for a nice environment in the heart of town

M and S have really upped their game when it comes to dealing with allergies and in particular catering for people with coeliac disease. I didn't really like having to order on a computer but apart from that the food was nice and we felt safe eating here. It's always good to know which restaurants and cafes you can rely on when you have dietary requirements. Thank you!

Ok if you fancy popping in for a cuppa. Have to order on machine now and can't pay with cash must be a card. Hot food ok. Added omelette to menu but they spoil it by putting a dollop of I presume is a red chutney on it which is disgusting. Doesn't state this when you order this. Usually go twice a week but now if I go will order a cake with my cuppa from now on.

Lovely place can be very busy.
Sad to see it’s all self service ordering on digital screen, some elderly people were struggling but staff were on hand to assist.
Food was delivered quickly and staff were very polite and attentive.

I enjoy eating here but do wish the door closer to the kitchen could be modified so that it works efficiently but is not so noisy. When I have been here at busy times particularly there has been a constant sound of loud banging throughout my meal as staff go in and out of the kitchen.
Neither pleasant nor relaxing.
