The best poké bowls that I and everyone I know has ever had. We associate Avopoké with poké bowls so much that we just call them "Avopokés" now. You won't get better quality anywhere else.

Food extremely refreshing and tasty. Very fresh ingredients, and fantastic price. The tuna is outstanding. Shop dog Peggy is a delight to hang out with while waiting for the food. Fantastic wee place, will be back.

Fresh poke bowls, everything seems to be very high quality. I think our order was a bit slow as the man needed to restock but it was worth waiting for. I loved the spicy tuna bowl very much. Would definitely go back.

Best poke bowl restaurant in Newcastle. Lovely and friendly staff and an adorable dog. Portions are huge and made fresh on site, highly customisable as I got a make your own bowl and you get a choice of 4 sides and toppings with a protein, base and sauce.

Friendly staff, and nice food at a fair price! I would have deducted half a star as the service was a bit slow - I suggest definitely pre-ordering. But overall definitely recommended.

Built my own poke bowl - the all ingredients felt fresh and particularly enjoyed the salmon and sambal. I would come here regularly if I lived in Newcastle! The avocado smoothie was also a great drink for the hot day. Five out of five 🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑

I was longing for a poke bowl place to open up ever since I tried it abroad, and 4 years later, I heard of Avopoke and was excited to try it out.
Poke bowl is rice with fish as meat topped with various vegetables and you can pick whatever you like from the menu. I had a regular Californian which has all the things decided (2 sizes, regular and lite)
This is really good poke bowl, lots of salmon, and other various toppings, and lots of rice to fill you up. There was lots of flavour from the fish, strong sour and earthy tones from pickled ginger to cleanse your palate, sweetness from the pomegranate, and the mellow taste of the avocado which all complimented each other. I just wish the salmon was in slices rather than cubes.
I only give 5 stars if I would go back another day to eat...this would be 6 stars because I wouldn't mind eating this everyday. Try it out, you'll be crawling back for more.
Note, the rice is warm while the salmon and other things is cold, so recommended to eat as soon as possible.

Absolutely delicious poke bowls served here! I must have tried all the different flavours and they were all amazing, but if I had to pick one, it'd be the spicy one with the homemade kimchi. Very generous portions using all fresh ingredients. The service is great as well, very friendly people here.
As a coffee enthusiast, I've been to many cafes and have never come across an avocado-coffee drink. What a great flavour combo, it really works and is strongly recommended!
