First time visit, popped in without booking & were offered a fab spot - staff were absolutely lovely & as I'd never seen Southern Fried Hunters Chicken on a menu before, it just had to be tried. It's fair to say we'll be returning! Food was delicious, temperature was awesome, service was prompt despite being a busy ole Friday evening. Top marks!

Thought it was odd that people were in a line queueing out the door instead or filling the bar to be served????. To much lockdown?. Lol.
That said, I'd say when it gets busy they are short staffed, but fair play to the ladies they worked hard to deal with everyone, so well done all. . Food was amazing, compliments to the Chef tonight, my steak was bang on the money!!. Rare sirloin, chips and the doings. Amazing!!. Will definitely be back again very soon!!
Very happy with bar staff they were overwhelmed at times but still very helpful. Disappointed with our two meal Nachos sharers. No salsa sauce . Instead chef put guacamole on them when we did ask for no guacamole. Salsa sauce one of the main ingredients. Rest of food was very good. On several occasions when we eat at the Bull,there is not enough bar staff, especially from six o'clock pm . We do eat regularly at the bull and there is never enough bar staff. Ordering meals can take some time especially when large groups use the bull and this could be eliminated by even one extra bar staff. Overall quite satisfied.
I had booked a table of 17 for my daughters 18th birthday, staff were brilliant and very accommodating. Food came out almost all together which was impressive as the pub was already busy. 2 ladies at bar and waiting tables were run of their feet but always smiling and pleasant.
We tried to amend our booking to add two people a week or so before but had no response from email and couldn't get through on the phone, however when we arrived it wasn't an issue to add an extra table and chairs and the lady was really helpful. Some of us ordered at the bar and some from the app, but all the food arrived together and the order was correct. The only problem was there were no eggs (?!) so the mixed grills weren't complete and we weren't told either at the bar or on the app before ordering. They did a great job of a birthday cake and singalong, and overall we had a lovely evening. Thank you very much.
Excellent service and food celebrating my husband's birthday with my family. There was 11 us of in the party and all meals were served together by very friendly staff, sorry I can't remember there names but they served us very well.
The manager was able to accommodate us last minute and couldn’t have been more helpful. We found it to be a very pleasant and enjoyful experience. The children loved the park and the atmosphere was welcoming. Even with lack of staff the team were amazing working off their feet to give everyone a lovely evening. We will most definitely be back soon. Wonderful staff 👍🏼 happy customers all round
Food was great. The app wasn’t the best and I struggled to navigate and make it work and as it was busy and we were a big party it was a bit of a wait at the bar and for the food. Lovely atmosphere as always though and staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back.

Food arrived very quickly. Most was good but the steaks that we had was chewy and cooked differently to what was required.
Overall, it was a pleasant evening.
