We ordered via WhatsApp outside of restaurant hours and then paid over the phone when the restaurant opened. 45 mins later our food was delivered.
When the food arrived it was piping hot and generous in quantity.
We had ordered the normal Mezza to start and the Double Platter for a main.
As mentioned above there was plenty of food, so much so that it defeated my wife, my daughter and I!
Overall it’s fair to say that the service and food were excellent!!

This is a really nice budget restaurant with friendly staff and a different selection of dishes to the normal high street chains. We had the very generous sharing platter. Highly recommended.

We passed by on foot while exploring Newport and were extremely curious. My friend and I are food neophytes and were a little skittish, but the staff were very willing to answer our questions and suggest dishes we would enjoy for our first foray unto this cuisine! I ordered the Grilled Vegetables with Melting Aubergine, as pictured, and it was delicious. Light and playful flavors interacted before fading, allowing for the next bite to be aa fulfilling an exploration as the first. I would recommend this restaurant to any venturing to the area!

Delicious, authentic Syrian food. Beautiful presentation and a warm welcome. Great menu and lots of choice for vegans and vegetarians. I ordered shish tauk ( bbq skewered marinated chicken breast) with smoked rice and salad ( sprinkled with sumac), and a wedge of spicy flat bread, served with pitta and garlic sauce, and fresh red mint tea to drink. Been visiting Falafilo Island for sometime now.
Always had a great meal, always made to feel welcome. I have visited with friends, family and a relaxed business lunch.
This is the choice of restaurant intown for both children (love the birthday cakes - they're delicious)
Tonight I had a delivery which was stunning (I had won a Christmas delivery - this was shared and enjoyed greatly)

One of my favourite restaurants . The food is fresh and very tasty and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a very nice ambient and the restrooms are clean. Loving the open kitchen and grill.

Excellent food, great service, you can bring your own drink as well 😀 lunchtime menu available! Take out a well! Very nice interior and you can shisha pipe yourself to bits outside of you desire 👊👊🤩🤩

Superb eating experience we will be back. Attentive staff ( owner ) helped us with our choice of food and drink. Great atmosphere in a vibrant part of Newport. We had a platter so tried so much all very tasty 😋 the chips are the best I have ever had so crispy. Thank you very much. Excellent value as well, you won’t come away feeling hungry.
