My husband and I are new residents to Newport, and haven’t had a nice Chinese meal since leaving Canada. We read the reviews for Jasmine Rice and decided to give it a try. I am not exaggerating when I say, the food from this restaurant was absolutely amazing! We ordered a few dishes to share between us and we still had some leftovers for Sunday lunch. Along with substantial portions, the sauces were not overly sweet but very well seasoned with just a nice tang that compliments the chicken, or beef. We will definitely return to Jasmine Rice for delivery and look forward to eating in the restaurant when COVID-19 restrictions are eased. Thank you for a delicious meal and a lovely first experience! Love this place. Chinese is not my first choice of takeaway, however, the chow mein is stunning. I won't have one from anywhere else but here. Huge hit in our house 😊

Ordered late on a Sunday night 30 min before closing time .. They happily delivered lovely hot , fresh food within 20 minutes .. Food was delicious. This is my new takeaway 👌

Good size portions - chicken balls were huge and both the barbecue and sweet & sour sauces were delicious. Dodging the smack heads lingering outside the shop got a bit dicey but the food was worth the risk 😍
