While visiting town for a wedding, I was at another establishment that referred me to The Green Room saying it was a 'prohibition style speakeasy' and a 'whisky bar.'
Once I arrived, I struggled to find the connection between The Green Room and any speakeasy I've been to. The door is well marked on a side street, the walls are straight painted drywall, and the décor, nothing prohibition style. It was nice and welcoming, but not what i expected.
The bar... they did have a fairly good whisky menu. In addition, the bartenders were friendly to talk to and we're willing to chat a little and come up with a creative, crafty cocktail to suite the occasion.
Although not prohibition or speakeasy in my book, this was still a great place for a cocktail that anyone reading this should checkout!

Great place to enjoy a cocktail. Very interesting menu with choices for every taste. More than a bar is a full experience. Don't like what you see on the menu? Ask for a cocktail tailored to what you want. The staff is very attentive and gives good service.

The atmosphere was great and the bartenders were really nice. They gave us perfect recommendations, even though I can have sounded picky. The drinks are very good, and I think I finally found my favorite bar in this area. Highly recommend!!

Excellent cocktail menu. Very fun, "hole in the wall" environment, you feel comfy and at home here. The cocktail menu is varied and eclectic- I tried one on a whim, barely got through a sip since it wasn't my forte, and ordered a new one. The bartender, having only met them once, was totally fine with subbing the drink and not charging me twice. I left a nice tip, and highly recommend the Green Room to people who want an easy going hang out. Dress nice if you can!

We love going here! For creative and classic cocktails, this is the best place in or near Northampton. The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgeable. They frequently update their menu of bespoke creations that offer something for almost any taste.
If instead you have an old favorite, they have you covered. Not sure what you want? They can invent something on the spot based on your preferences!
The atmosphere is superb, with tasteful lighting. They show a variety of well-chosen videos running silently above the bar. It's not a sports bar - it's a place where you can enjoy conversation, whether at the bar itself or at one of the private tables.
Accordingly, it attracts a pleasant variety of people. Even people who visit on their own seem to be comfortable here.

Best drinks in the valley! They know how to make pretty much anything and make it extremely well. Introduced me to my fave drink. Also just a great atmosphere in general. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to drink.
