Food was ok, Felt a bit expensive for the quality received. Nice building, service good.
Poached fish was a bit overdone, the pie was lovely and the scampi great. Chips were nice too. They substituted brand for peas on request which was nice!

A delight to visit this lovely pub. Well kept ales and a great menu with lots of vegetarian options. We had a wonderful evening meal and were treated to exceptional service by the friendly professional staff. A gem! ❤️

Nice old fashioned pub, really like the ambience. I ordered the veggie toad in the hole which was a little odd - just a linda McCartney sausage put into a Yorkshire pudding (after the fact). In principle it's right but not really...otherwise good and I would come back.
