Best Sunday roast I’ve ever had in a pub and better than many home roasts too (cos nothing is as good as your granny’s right?) Friendly and efficient service in a proper English pub with a great atmosphere. Great experience.

The best Sunday roast I've had in a pub for years. I had the belly pork, huge portion of meltingly tender meat, with generous portion of roasties. Delicious red cabbage, assorted veg and cauliflower cheese, lashings of gravy absolutely delicious. You can't book, you'll probably have to wait for a table, but it's definitely worth it.

Does not close till late. I had a drink with my friend outside last night. Reasonable pricing. Plenty of spaces to sit.

Fantastic location, however, place could do with a major face-lift. Big outdoor area and the beer was reasonably priced. Also had a pool table.

Lovely roast, came with veg, cauliflower cheese and extra gravy! Was our second week in a row going to temple bar for Sunday lunch and it was fantastic both times! The only thing missing was a bit of stuffing… but apart from that an amazing roast at a great price too!
